I stared at the inside of the bus, surprised that so much could be done inside a vehicle. I wouldn't have thought, but I should have known better. I was well placed to know you could do a just about anything with the right amount of money.
I couldn't really find a word to describe how it looked. Sophisticated was part of it of course. The interior was a gorgeous palette of white, cream and black. There were two black couches on either sides on which there were black, blue and purple cushions. Facing one of the couches was a televison, hung up close to the ceiling. On the floor was a gorgeous black rug.
It was a bus of course, so although the sitting area was quite impressive, you could see the kitchen directly behind it. Black and white marble- what the hell? In a tour bus?- countertops, tall stools instead of chairs, a shiny black fridge that was probably filled to the the brim. Black cupboards probably also full of food.
I couldn't help but raise a brow.
"I know right? It screams 'money' at you." Harmony grinned and threw the pink backpack in which I'd seen her slip her laptop in on the couch that faced the tv. I raised my eyebrows, shocked.
"What the heck, Harmony. Your laptop's in there," Jon rolled his eyes.
"Oops," Her eyes widened when she realized her mistake, "I'm sure it will be fine."
"Anyway, she's not lying," Jon put his own bag down next to Harmony's, "About the bus. It's much worse when you're broke. It actually slaps you in the face."
I laughed and rolled my eyes.
"Don't worry, I'm not easily impressed." I told him.
"Is that right? I find that impressive." He smiled crookedly. Jon was really cute. I'd seen that already but he was super nice.
"Ugh don't make me gag right now, Jon. Do not flirt with Athena. Keep it in your pants, she just arrived." Harmony scolded playfully.
"Don't worry Harmony, I have no reason to make you jealous," he smirked and I gasped. Was there something I wasn't aware of? "Besides I wouldn't dare interfere with whatever the fuck is going with her and Aaron... and Carlyle."
"You must think you're really funny, but you're fucking gross," she shook her head disapprovingly, "Now look at Athena," she pointed to me, "She really thinks we got something going on now."
"So you don't?" I asked, curious.
"Naws. Harmony is my best friend, we couldn't phatom it." Jon replied, he then looked at his watch before saying, "I wonder what these assholes are up to. We should be departing right now. I'm gonna check on them."
He left Harmony and me on our own and she turned to me and grabbed my hands with a smile.
"I'll show you the rest of the place, now." She pulled me further in the bus, past the kitchen, and I winced, my ankle still hurt, "Okay so normally there would be a bunk area but the guys really wanted to have their own rooms so they paid a little fortune so this bus could have three individual rooms. And then there's a bunk area but Jon and me sleep there so unfortunately you really have no choice but to stay with one of the guys."
