After escaping from the Shadows clutches, Jj, Austin, Bolo, & Sky all decided it was best to go to Alex's house to reunite with Uncle Mimic, Miguel and Risky only to be caught up by the Shadow once again. And when Shantae, Alex, and Risky return back home, they all saw everyone hurt and injured, but they got rid of the Shadow once and for all... After the fight, Miguel has been wondering how they're enemies found them... Risky thinks that it was because of Mimic since he was turned into a shadow... But that didn't explain how they're friends were found in the hospital.

~Jj's Pov~

Jj: *Walking downstairs, he saw the whole living room all messy*

Jj's mind: Alex is so in trouble...

Jj: *Walking around, he saw old family pictures ruined and couches all in splinters*

???: You gonna start cooking?

Jj: *Turning around, he saw Austin with a bandaged up head sitting down on what it looked like the last upright dining chair*

Austin: I mean you can try, no one's stopping you.

Jj: I would, but I'll leave it to the professionals...

Austin: I can see the shadow got you good...

Jj: Yeah... He burned me pretty good. *Showing his left arm* But I can see it hit you pretty hard on your noggin...

Austin: Well I loved to stay here but I'm heading out later...

Jj: Why?

Austin: Because I gave up this silly charade...

Jj: Gave up being a hero?

Austin: Yes...

Jj: Being a hero is not a silly charade... It's a courageous act.

Austin: Don't talk to me about that Jj... I have seen what courageous act you did and it almost got you killed...

Jj: I'm willing to help others in need if that means--

Austin: Endangering yourself.

Jj: What about you?

Austin: I don't know...

Jj: It's a simple question...

Austin: I know... But are you willing to sacrifice yourself even if you can't see your loved ones again... You won't get to see them...

Jj: If it means saving a life...

Austin: I can't believe you're doing this...

Jj: Me neither...

???: What's going on down here?

Jj & Austin: *Look at the stairs to see Miguel making his way down*

Miguel: What're you guys talking about?

Jj: Just guy stuff...

Miguel: Can I join in on this guy stuff?

Jj: Sure.

Miguel: Hey Austin... Are we cool?

Austin: Yeah... It's not your fault... It was kinda mine...

Miguel: I made you mad...

Jj: Let's just say it's both your fault...

Miguel: He's not wrong...

Austin: Still it was not right for me to lash out on you...

Miguel: And it wasn't right to tell you to apologize to Alex... You decide when to apologize...
