Internal comms conversation: "Where Logan and Specter would hear and talk to each other."

Location: Earth's Orbit, Warship <STERBEN>, Bridge

"I'll finish him! Cover me!"

"Shit!! Logan!! Watch out!!

"I can't.... see...."

"Logan!!"

"W-why...? W-why...? W-what were you t-thinking!?!?"

"I-I..."

"Logan?" A robotic voice spoke.

"!!!!!"

A male Hunter with his mask and armor on widened his eyes and moved his body front from his captain's seat inside his warship <STERBEN>'s bridge.

"Are you okay?"

Specter asked in a worried voice. From what he can suspect, his Guardian was having a flashback of the incident that would hunt him.

"I'm... *Sigh* I'm fine. Just a bad dream, I guess..." Logan sighed and leaned back to his seat.

He closed his eyes for a moment and opened them again.

'Dammit... That day again...' Cursing himself. 3 hours passed after a fierce battle against DEM and helping Ratatoskr's ship to flee back to Earth safely.

He raised his right arm and looked at his hand, 'Why... Why couldn't I do it? What stopped me from it?"

Logan had an intense fight against Artemisia Ashcroft, DEM's second strongest Wizard, on the dorsal hull of his warship couple of hours ago. He was able to get Artemisia at his mercy, a chance to finish her, but the image of her appeared covered in blood made him Making him hesitant to kill the DEM Wizard.

He can't understand why that happened. That was a mistake Logan can never forgive himself.

He shook his head to dismiss what he thought, he turned to his right and looked at his Ghost, "How are we looking?"

Specter looked at the console next to the captain's station. A console that was designed for Specter to a tactical advisor for Logan, who is currently sitting on his captain's seat.

"Well, we are doing fine, the main engine is running normally, and as for the scrap metals we collected from the destroyed DEM ships are all on board."

Logan nodded. After the DEM withdrew, Specter suggested collecting the scrap metals from the wreckage of the destroyed DEM warships. Logan agreed, seeing that they would need to salvage much as resources they can. They would perform salvage operations by transmatting much as scraps they could take on board their ship. Logan would have an idea of what to do with the scraps they collected.

"And how much damage have we sustained?"

Specter began to upload a tab with the data to Logan's console window.

"Not much. Since we're the ones who made most of the attack. As for the first turret that was attacked by Ashcroft's weapon, there's no damage sustained. Not even a scratch."

Logan nodded at the data he was looking at the data presented to his console screen, "I'll say this, the armor plating upgrades you suggested, was somewhat worth it. I was surprised by how it easily reflects the beam attack. But I wonder, how would the armor go up against capital-class beam attack?"
