Lyric Line Poetry Contest

{ROUND 1} Result

So after thinking about it for a long time, I've reached a decision. Sorry for the long wait.

There is a change in the proceedings of the contest. I'm not eliminating anyone.

We had 10 contestants but I received only 5 entries. So no sense in eliminating anyone.

I've read the poems of all those who gave me the link. I even took the help from my friends in judging and I've marked you all accordingly. I'm not telling you your positions. All I'll say that was the best of all was Fallen Champion by AlphaAbyss. I've judged on the basis of the sense of the poem and how creatively the given lyrics were used. So a big round of applause for AlphaAbyss
The rest were really good as well.

I'll be holding the ROUND 2 which would be similar to the first one. The prompts could be a little harder. You'd have to submit again. And at the end, I'll disclose the two winners of the contest (I'll take the entries of ROUND 1 into consideration as well).
