After that last entry, Riley didn't write for a couple years. Or maybe she did, because there are pages torn from the journal.
It's so hard for me to read it, because of the way things are now. But some things are beginning to make sense... I think. I'm crying after reading her last entry. Given what happened over the next couple years, I know Riley made an effort to fix things with me.
And then she went and left like it was the easiest thing in the world.
