Gen x Girlfriend Reader : Part 2

Gen and _______ were resting near the waterfall, no, they were pretending to rest as they knew that they were being watched. Tsukasa was a very careful person, he made sure to order some of his men to spy on them. They were secretly followed wherever they went.

_______ : I see... So Tsukasa wants you to find out if this man, Senku, is alive or not. For someone so strong to have doubts when he killed him himself, this Senku person must be really amazing.

Gen : Don't fall in love with someone you don't even know, _______-chan. I'm getting jealous.

_______ : Hehe... Don't worry, Gen. He can't be more amazing than you. Besides, even if he was, you're still Gen so that makes you better than anyone.

Gen : Flatter me more. Ah... That's great, hearing my precious _______-chan flattering me like that... Ahhh! I'm getting more motivated by the second! I really want to work hard for Tsukasa-chan now!

Gen had that look on his face, the one of the "lying smiling snake". He was making sure to talk loud enough for the grunts to hear him.

But having watchers near Gen and _______ was not enough to guarantee a full surveillance, that's why when they talked, there was always someone listening. Someone. And someone's name was...

Ukyo : Seriously, why can't we just let them be? Even if they really wanted to do something against Tsukasa, they won't make mistakes if they know they're being spied.

Ukyo Saionji, the Ears of the Empire. He was one of Tsukasa's most useful subjects. With his incredibly sensitive hearing, he was able to listen to Gen and _______'s conversation from a far enough distance to go unnoticed. He was not a bad person. Actually, it was the contrary. Ukyo was probably one of the kindest people in the Tsukasa Empire. He was kind in a very scary way and Tsukasa often wished he had two Ukyos instead of one. With the current situation it would be especially useful as there was another suspicious couple in town. But for now, Ukyo was focused on Gen and _______, watching them from his observation spot. 

Gen had already met Ukyo before _______'s revival. He knew about his abilities and he also had a plan to sincerely communicate with _______ without being noticed.

_______ : That's great! I look forward to seeing you work hard in this wonderful pure world! It's so great here, it almost looks like heaven, it's just perfect for us! After all, you and I we know each other so well that we don't need words to talk.

_______ understood the situation from Gen's behaviour. She played along, giving him a hint. She also wanted to thank him for teaching her Lip Reading. The world's greatest mentalist and his childhood friend didn't need words to understand each other, therefore, they knew how to fool even Ukyo's vigilance.

Gen : _______-chan...

_______ : What is it, Gen?

Gen : I really want to do it, right here, right now.

Ukyo : Wha-!!

Gen threw himself on _______, pinning her on the ground.  The wind blew through his hair as he looked down at her with intensity. _______ smirked. Ukyo was blushing furiously.

Ukyo : They're not seriously thinking about doing it here, they know we're watching, right!? Is it a turn-on for them? Is that even how it works?! I don't know, I never did that before... I wish I was more informed on the matter, that way I could be more useful to Tsukasa.

Gen and _______'s faces got closer as they read on each other's lips.

Gen : (I will accomplish this mission. Let's not try anything risky for now. If siding with Tsukasa-chan means I can stay with you and live comfortably, then it's what we should do.)
