Twelve hours of surgery with over fifty six stitches and a full body cast. I was long since out cold and I had no idea how long I had been out for. My body was numb to say the least. I breathed in and out unable to see anything. I slowly tried to move my fingers but being in a cast I couldn't. This led me to freak the hell out. I began to let out muffled calls as I struggled to move my body. "Calm yourself you look pathetic." Able said as I tried and failed to move my head towards him. "I said to calm yourself y/n. you had fought well, better than even I would have been able to." I sighed hearing his words knowing they were hard for him to say. "How long have I been out?" I mumbled through the bandages hoping he would hear me. "You have been out for a total of three months two weeks five days twelve hours and seventeen seconds. I had only awoken a month prior and things have changed slightly since you have left." My heart skipped a beat. I was in a coma for three months?! With my wounds I should have been dead, but thanks to brook I was able to survive. I felt something slice across my face slicing away the bandages. I groaned as light hit my eyes for the first time in months blinding me like a flash bang. "Toughen up you are not a vampire." Able said tossing away a scalpel. In response I hissed at him like a cat. "Now that you are awake your body should be almost done healing, which means Y/n." He tore off some bed sheets and began to tie them around my limbs.
"Wait are you doing what I think you're doing?" I asked as he hefted be up strapping me to his back. "Able I am not a backpack god damn it!" I said blushing a bit embarrassed as he walked out of the room. "Yet you can pull something out of yourself Y/n." He replied like a smart ass. When he walked to the end of the medical ward I could hear someone tapping their foot against the ground. "You couldn't wait to try and keep her in a cast any longer, murderer?" Iris asked in a disapproving tone. "Hey to be fair, I tend to put myself in a cast." I retorted trying to struggle out of my cast. "I will release you later, this way I know you will not run off and do something foolish!" He said huffing. "Do not ignore me!" Iris said as she walked over to me. "Do you want me to call security?" She asked narrowing her eyes as able began to walk again. "I think everything is fine for now, in fact I feel relaxed. This way able will never see whatever I'm going to pull coming." Able walked out of the medical ward as iris followed being silent. It seemed like she wanted a show from me. Challenge accepted.
"When I was out did either of you take a blue key off me?" I asked as iris perked up. "Do you mean this y/n?" She asked pulling it out. "Yea that I stole it fair and square. Now give it back please." She reached up and put it in my mouth since there was no other place to put it. I refused to open my mouth until able brought me back to our containment cell. He then unstrapped me and opened my secret hiding place. "Spit it out." He ordered as I spit the blue key into the hole with everything else. "How much shit have you stolen?!" Iris asked as able closed it. "That is unimportant; however I would like to get out of this cast." Able set me on the floor and brought out his sword using it to open the cast like a can of soup. He pulled me out as I wobbled nearly falling over but iris caught me in time. She set me down cross legged on the floor as I looked up at able. "Attack me; no remorse hit me with whatever you have." I said determined as iris looked on in horror. "That is insane you can't just do that!" She said eyes wide, however did not hesitate. He sent a punch my way but as he did I shot up and side stepped his attack grabbing his arm and punching him in the throat. He stumbled back a little then rubbed his slightly damaged neck.
"fudoza?" He asked with a raised eyebrow. "Something like that." I replied sitting on my bed trying to think. "You have come a long way." Able noted as I stared at the ceiling bored out of my mind. "You have a point, but I'm nowhere near strong enough. I can't afford to wind up in another coma for who knows how long." I forced myself up and went to walk down the long corridor to the elevator. "Hey come back!" Iris said rushing after me. "No can do iris I need to go see a monster about a brawl." I got in the elevator and stopped her from entering. "Catch the next one up. Sorry iris." The door closed as I contemplated how to go about this. When the elevator reached its destination I stepped out cracking my knuckles. "Loud and dumb tends to work." I walked along the hallways, and to my surprise I saw no one at all. "This is unusual even for the foundation." I could feel my instincts kick into over drive as time began to slow down for me. I jumped as the ground began to rot beneath my feet. Rising from it was what seemed like an old man but his skin looked like it was rotting. "Shit and I thought 682 was an ugly son of a bitch!"
