Y/n POV.

As we began to go through I heard someone shout that this experiment was to be shut down as they rushed into the room. Yet it was too late me and the doc were already through. We landed in the middle of a street as I took out brook aiming him like a gun down an empty street. This place was a total snooze fest everything seemed to be abandoned. I glanced back to see dr bright casually steal the red sea object closing the portal. "Come on doc, looks like we aren't going to be able to turn back any time soon." The plague doctor nodded as he shivered. "The great pestilence is here, it seems this world is unclean as well." He began to walk off as I grabbed his shoulder spinning him around. "Oh no you need to follow me doc you are not meant for fighting." He nodded looking around as I walked with him letting go for a moment before like a gnat he walked over to a car. "What is this wretched sight?"

I glanced over to see a car filled with some weird ass funk. "Do not touch it now come on I need something to fight, oh and we have to look for- wait a minute what the actual hell am I here for again?" He turned to look at me. "I thought you knew?" I groaned looking around. This was Bright's doing there was nothing for me to do because there was nothing I should have had to do. "We should find shelter." Suggested the doctor. "Agreed, come on let's find some place big and fortify the hell out of it." We began to walk for a while seeing nothing but the empty streets, until I saw something weird. Down the street there was a humanoid figure, it was faceless and missing its lower half and it was bigger then a school bus. "This world is, terrifying." Said the doctor. The creature turned its head towards us. "Move it doc!" The thing began to rush us as we went into a large tall building. I slammed the front door as it tried to get in. Me and the doc raced away from the door as it stared at us, saying it had a blank expression is an understatement. "Higher ground seems like a wise decision." Said the doc as he pointed to an elevator. "Great idea." We quickly got in hitting a random floor number. "This place is crazy, and not in a good way." Below us I could hear the thing bellowing.

I took out brook ready to fight anything that we may find. Instead of going up like we intended the elevator began to go down deeper and deeper still. When we arrived at our destination we were greeted with a metal desk and a huge metal door. "Let's see what's behind door number one." Without waiting I charged the door cutting a huge hole in it. I kicked the wall over crawling inside seeing something very disturbing. Hundreds of pods filled with naked humans all connected to life support systems. "This is, disgusting." The doctor said entering after me. "Let's play by horror movie rules, split up and search for clues! Shaggy you go investigate over there by those pods I'll go and check around for any place that might have words to read." The doctor was quiet for a moment. "Might I ask who shaggy is?" I sighed rubbing my temples. "Never mind doc." We split up right after that. I couldn't find much of anything that is until I stumbled across a desk filled with papers and a laptop. Most of the papers had stuff on it mainly about blasphemy and betraying some kind of lord.

Like any good sleuth I plopped my ass down and began to read. I let out a loud whistle letting the doc know where I went. After a while he came over. "It appears that these people were imprisoned for minor or extreme things ranging from sleeping with a neighbor or murder." He said picking up a file nearby. I tossed the book I was reading setting brook against the desk. I leaned forward and began to type in a password which turned out to be "fucking password". Ah crazy employees never get old. I began to scroll through file after file reading about some holy wars. "Looks like there shouldn't be anything left alive on the planet's surface besides the unclean, and these people in the pods." I said annoyed as the plague doctor shook his head. I continued to read through the files when suddenly I felt the hair on my arms stand up. Instinct took over as I shot up unsheathing brook aiming him at the doctor. He recoiled in shock from my sudden hostility. "I don't know what this is y/n but-!" Before he could plead his case I interrupt him. "We are surrounded." All around us were violet colored people just staring at us.
