Y/n POV

You know it was strange really. I was sitting on something that had tried to kill me plenty of times in the middle of the ocean heading to kill an elder god. 682 swam through the ocean like a snake now as large as a battle ship. How did he get this big you ask? Let's just say he ate a small town on the way over. I really hope the checks are in the mail for all those now homeless people. I could have stopped him sure, but it's not like I had time to fight him again. Plus stopping him sounded like work. "How much farther is this temple? The sea is vast and I feel like your guessing." 682 complained as I drew brook taking his sheath and putting it back in the tattoo. I looked into brooks glimmering blade the light from the sun reflecting of 682 scales. "You know, I'm not sure there should have been someone here to help us and guide us I was given a general direction." I answered standing on his back as I practiced swinging brook.

"Y/n, perhaps you could tell me what our plan is when we get there?" The plague doctor asked. Oh yea I forgot to mention I had to turn 682 around to pick up the rest of the crew. Currently able, iris and the doc were playing poker while we waited to arrive at our destination. "I double checked the coordinates the temple should be up ahead by now at the current rate we are going." iris said laying down a three of a kind with fours. "Ha I win again!" Able said as he set down three queens and reached for the pile of poker chips in the middle of 682 back. "Not so fast able, patience is a virtue after all." The plague doctor laid down his hand. He had four aces and a king. "343 DAMN IT!" iris said as the plague doctor took the poker chips. "Stop using me as a poker table." 682 grumbled as a storm raged in the distance. "Want me to deal you in big guy?" I asked 682 as the doctor began to put the cards away in a container along with the chips putting them away in his cloak when he was done. "No need y/n I believe we are here." The plague doctor said taking out his cane.

I gazed up towards the distance. Floating off in the water within the storm was the golden temple. I began to do some stretches ready for round two. "Seems like we made it just in time for the party, alright everyone watch out for sea monsters!" I warned as 682 brought us closer towards the temple. "Ippy is going to have one hell of a temper seeing me again, let's hope he keeps it." Once 682 got us all close everyone hopped off of him and onto the steps. "Now does everyone remember the plan?" I asked looking back to the others. "If it's in the water and not any of you it dies?" 682 asked as I nodded. "Good murder lizard, the rest of you?" I asked as able began to walk up the steps his massive sword slung over his right shoulder. "Clear a path through anything that moves." Able said sounding slightly eager. Iris took a deep breath as she began to climb after able. "Wait room to room in the previous room as an attacker that cannot be seen." She said snapping a picture of the entrance of the temple taking the picture out and putting it in a small album.

"Doctor?" I asked as he nodded quickly. "My job." He said straightforward as we all began to walk up the steps arriving at the door. 682 dove into the sea as the temple stopped. It seems like the seal is below us." Iris said as we Able pushed the doors open with his arms. "This temple has floated thus far there must be lower levels." Able suggested glancing at the torch lit arena not seeing another exit. "So you return once more human." Ippy's voice rang from around me as everyone raised their guard. The doors behind us closed leaving iris outside but not before she could snap a picture. From the walls large doors opened revealing what appeared to be some form of, how do I describe these guys? They had the head of wolves and were over seven feet tall their skin reminded me of seal skin with the tint and for hands they had flippers, each one of these things had a weapon of some sort ranging from a sword to a trident. "The Telekhines are master craftsman." Ippy explained from his hiding place. "I have heard of these creatures, they have created many power weapons for the gods but were banished for something evil." Able said as he aimed his sword at one of them. "I count twenty three." the plague doctor said as he took a step back.
