Nothing spectacular here. Just some weapons everyone needs when writing.★Dictionary (honestly you'll only need this sometimes)
★Thesaurus, or what I like to call the Dino dictionary
★Pens
★Paper
★A trash can
★Folders
★A couple binders
★Really huge paper for things like family trees or maps
★A whiteboard if you have space for one (I don't)
★ Someone to think out loud to even if they're not listening
★Something to do with your hands while you're thinking
★A distraction
★A good excuse to procrastinate
★A wall bang your head against
Obviously, you shouldn't really bang your head against the wall. But all writers have the urge.
I have a couple squishies that I play with while I'm thinking. (A football and an emoji)
You don't need to have all these things when you write, just the ones that seem the most useful. As for a work space, that varies for everyone. You can try and have a tidy work space at your desk if you like. But more often than not you'll end up in the floor with papers all over the place.
That's how it is, and it's beautiful.
