Music.
I get tons of inspiration from music. The main thing I listen to is rock and metal.
But I'm by no means limited to those. There's alot of old country in my library. (Think Johnny Cash)There's also alot of classics. (Elvis, KIZZ, Sinatra)
I don't listen to pop that much anymore but there's still a few stragglers.
I don't judge people on their music choices because to me all music is timeless. Inspiration can be found in all music and most of the time you don't even have to look.
Reading.
Reading and writing go hand in hand for me. I read when I'm bored. I read when I'm not bored. I read to procrastinate.
Or when I'm in a writing drought, I'll read through three or four books before I come up with something.Though I draw alot of inspiration from music and reading, it can be found everywhere.
I find it in conversation. I find it on TV. I find it in memes. Everywhere.
It's important to remember that it comes when it comes. You don't have to force a new chapter every week just because you should.
It could take a couple weeks or a couple months for something goof to come along and that's okay.
