ENDURE

When you are stripped
of all you love...

When you become aware
you aren't worthy of anything...

When you realize
that even death is too easy...

All you can do
is finally comprehend
that all you do deserve...

is to Endure...

Until the universe destroys you...

This is Hell...

But you Endure...

And time goes by...
And events go by...

But you Endure...
    all the pain,
    all the loneliness,
    all the guilt,
    all the shame,
    all the bitterness,
    all the inner destruction,
    all the outer destruction...

Time goes by
and you Endure it all...

This is Hell...

You are not destroyed,
you Endured,
you still remain...

When others would fail,
you still remain...

And time goes by...

And one day,
it hits you...

One day
it strikes you hard...

One day
    you find yourself
       looking for guilt,
       looking for shame,
       looking for ridicule,
       looking for your destruction...

But there is none there...

For one day...
you realize...

YOU SMILED...

and it hits you...

hard...

you realize...

YOU DESERVED TO SMILE!
