"So you sure you want to do this?" Monika asked me.

"I'm done sitting back and watching." I told her as I put my black jacket on.

"She did ask you to stay back, this may conflict with her wishes."

I sighed and looked to Monika.

"You asked me to come here and save them, well this counts as saving." I said to her.

"I get that, it's just that I didn't expect you to get into a fight with anyone." She confessed to me.

"If it means saving a life of the ones closest to me, I'd kill anyone."

I took my phone out of my pocket and swiped up on it and the code began to form into an object.

"What are you doing Y/N?" Monika asked me in confusion.

When the object had formed into solid matter I grabbed it out of the air and held it out in front of me.

"Why do you have that?"

I ejected the magazine out of the gun and looked at it, Kimber Warrior 1911, favourite pistol ever.

"Are you going to kill him?"

I pushed the magazine back in and pulled the slide back.

"Yeah, then he'll never hurt her again." I told her as I holstered the handgun.

"Can you even shoot a gun?" Monika asked.

"No, but I've seen plenty of movies."

"Just because you watched the John Wick movies a billion times doesn't mean you can shoot a gun."

"Trust me, I only need one shot."

Monika took a step away from me and shook her head.

"I didn't want this, I wanted to save everyone, not kill more people." She told me.

"You know all those stories you hear about on the news of a father abusing his child?" I asked her.

"Yes." She said.

"Do you feel that if you knew the abused you would've done something to help them?"

She didn't say anything, she just nodded her head.

"Well this is my chance to do something, permanently."

She took a shaky breath and closed her eyes.

"I suppose I will see you back here when it's done."

I took a step forward and kissed her cheek as I set my phone to pull me through the code to Natsuki's house. 

"I love you."

*Natsuki's house*

I stood outside the front door and readied myself for what I was about to do.

I was in a virtual world where somebody could be brought back to life in a matter of seconds, yet why was I starting to re-think myself, why was I suddenly hoping this was all a dream, was I really ready to kill a man?

"How dare you look at me!" I heard a man scream than glass shattering.

Fuck it, she needed me now.

"No Daddy!" I heard Natsuki scream out.

I went to open the door, locked as expected, guess I had to use brute force. I raised my foot up and that's when I heard it, a belt being cracked across Natsuki, she screamed out in pain.

"Shut up and take it!"

I pushed my foot into the door and luckily the handle snapped off and it flung open, I stepped inside.
