I opened the door and let Natsuki inside, she immediately dumped her bags in the entrance hall and made her way into the TV room, I locked the door and heard her flop onto one of the couches in there, I put my gun in one of the drawers by the door and let out a breath I didn't realise I had been holding in.

"Y/N?" Natsuki called for me.

I walked into the TV room and saw her lying down on the long couch with a pillow over her chest.

"You need anything?" I asked her.

She didn't say anything, she just moved the pillow aside and held her arms up in the air, I moved over to her and hugged her.

"Thank you Y/N." She whispered to me.

I held her tighter as she rubbed her hands over my back.

"Y/N?" She asked me.

"Yes Natsuki." I answered.

"Your clothes are pretty ripped."

"I guess they kind of are."

"You really are a baka for getting thrown around just for me."

"You're worth every bit of pain I endured."

She giggled at that statement as she pulled her arms away from me and looked into my eyes.

"Go have a shower, you stink." She told me.

"You don't wanna have one first?" I asked her.

"You need one more, I can wait."

I nodded my head and stood up and walked off into the bathroom, it was only when I stood in front of the mirror that I realised how much I had actually been thrown around. I had cuts on my face, some were bleeding which left red streaks down my face, I wiped my face with a wet cloth and went to pull my jacket off when I felt a sudden sharp pain in my shoulder. I looked in the mirror and saw I had a large wooden shard stuck in my shoulder, it was only now that I was starting to feel the pain. I needed help getting this out, but there was only one person who could help me.

"Natsuki!" I called out.

I waited for a few moments till the door opened and Natsuki poked her head in.

"Need something?" She asked.

I pointed to the shard in my shoulder and her face quickly frowns as she puts her hands over her mouth.

"Can you pull it out? The pain is starting to set in." I said to her.

"Uh, o-okay, I'll try." Natsuki answered.

She took a step to me and put a hand on my back and the other slowly gripped the shard, another spike of pain went through my shoulder but I didn't show Natsuki it hurt.

"Ready?" She asked.

"Yep." I told her.

She told me to brace myself and then pulled the shard out, I tried not to yell out in pain but I did let out a very loud and painful groan.

"Y/N?" Natsuki asked as she tossed the shard aside.

"I'm okay, thank you." I said to her.

"There's no blood."

"Must not have been deep enough."

That was weird, I thought I could still bleed since the cuts on my face had bled.

"So Y/N?" Natsuki asked me.

I turned around and saw that Natsuki's face was red.

"Your shirt is ripped and I can see..." Natsuki trailed off.
