Curves in a wowan's body are considered beautiful, be it with her waist, shape or her smile.

This is my bestfriend we've been friends since were in grade school. They said that when a friendship lasts longer than 7 years, psychologists say it will last a lifetime, maybe there are some truth with this myth.

We've been friends for almost 15 years. We shared a lot memories together, be it sad or happy moments, we even hate each others exes. I'm so pissed with her ex and she hate the guts of mine but we love each other and she love my daughter too, As a Godmother she spoils my daughter more than I do.

She called me one day, she hid the saddest in her voice but I know her too well. "I was diagnosed with mild scoliosis" she said "It's nothing serious, I mean it's just mild, right? haha" she continued and forced a laugh. I didn't said a word. "Hey I know that silence, I know your worried and I didn't tell you this to make you worried. I just want to let you know, you will get angry when I hid something like this to you, even the minor things, and beside I will get treatment for this, so don't worry, okay?." she said reassuring me. "Okay, but if need me, just call me I'll be there". "Uh-uh, bye". We hung-up.

I tried to search more about Scoliosis, to understand what would be the cause.
Scoliosis is a sideways curvature of the spine that occurs most often during the growth spurt just before puberty. The cause of most cases is unknown, but it is believed to involve a combination of genetic andenvironmental factors. Risk factors include other affected family members. It can also occur due to another condition such as muscles spasms, cerebral palsy, Marfan syndrome, and tumors such asneurofibromatosis. Diagnosis is confirmed with X-rays.
The curve is usually "S"- or "C"-shaped over three dimensions.
Scoliosis occurs in about 3% of people. It most commonly occurs between the ages of 10 and 20.

Most cases of scoliosis are mild, but some spine deformities continue to get more severe as children grow. Severe scoliosis can be disabling. An especially severe spinal curve can reduce the amount of space within the chest, making it difficult for the lungs to function properly, pressure exerted on the heart, and restricted physical activities.

An estimated 65% of scoliosis cases areidiopathic, about 15% are congenital, and about 10% are secondary to a neuromuscular disease.
Idiopathic scoliosis represents a majority of cases, but its causes are largely unknown. Recent studies indicate potential heritability of the disorder. About 38% of variance in scoliosis risk is due to genetic factors, and 62% is due to the environment.
Congenital scoliosis can be attributed to a malformation of the spine during weeks three to six in uterus due to a failure of formation, a failure of segmentation, or a combination of stimuli.
Secondary scoliosis due to neuropathic and myopathic conditions can lead to a loss of muscular support for the spinal column so that the spinal column is pulled in abnormal directions. Some conditions which may cause secondary scoliosis include muscular dystrophy, spinal muscular atrophy, poliomyelitis, cerebral palsy, spinal cord trauma, and myotonia.

Symptoms associated with scoliosis can include:

Pain in the back, shoulders, neck and buttock pain nearest the bottom of the back. Respiratory or cardiac problems in severe cases. Constipation due to curvature causing "tightening" of stomach, intestines, etc. Limited mobility secondary to pain or functional limitation in adults and Painful menstruation.

The signs of scoliosis can include:

Uneven musculature on one side of the spine  Rib prominence or a prominent shoulder blade, caused by rotation of the rib cage in thoracic scoliosis. Uneven hips, arms, or leg lengths. Slow nerve action. Heart and lung problems in severe cases. Calcium deposits in the cartilage end plate and sometimes in the disc itself.

If any of you ever had any symptoms better get a diagnosis before it could get worse, especially for children since it might get worse as they get older.
