Star on Fire

    Every Morning we always watch news on GMA while eating breakfast. October 2, 2019 it was a usual morning for us, we ate breakfast while watching the news on Unang Hirit.
     Then a news about an arson incident somewhere in Pasay was flashed on the Television screen and it turns out, Star City was caught on fire at around 1 am, according to initial investigation, the blaze started in the amusement park's stockroom around past midnight. Approximately 60 percent of infrastructure within the amusement park complex was destroyed. The reason behind the arson was still until. Hence the Authorities are still further investigating the incident.

   Star City was a 380,000 sq ft amusement park in Pasay, Philippines. It is located in the reclaimed area of the Cultural Center of the Philippines Complex, part of Bay City and it was established in 1991. And 70 percent of the facilities of Star City are covered and air-conditioned. The amusement park introduced various types of rides and attractions in the Philippines.  It has more than 30 different rides and attractions.

    The first that I went to the Star City was on a school field trip during my Sophomore year on high school.  It was really fun and exciting. Maybe that was reay the effect of Amusement and theme park. The adrenalin rush, the excitement, so many people and so many rides. Me and my friend was walking around and deciding what to ride,when she saw my crush lining up for Surf Dance, Star City claim that "This platform thrill ride captures the tumult of riding the waves with every twist and turn and lift and drop", so in short we rode that Surf dance so that I can get a glimpse of my crush, I honestly don't what I am thinking that time, and all I remember during the ride that I was screaming with every twist and turns of the ride while my friend was laughing all his heart, I bet she's enjoying torturing me. After that I never ride another extreme ride that night, since I had enough dizziness. The night was fun, heart pounding, exciting it was a moment to remember. You get to bond with your friends and all your classmates together. But of course I cam back with my friends and family as well, since it was fun and exciting when you ride those extreme rides.

  Hence I was sad to see the news that it will be closed for a year, I just hope that Star City will get back on their feet and continue to give us fun and exciting memories. I wish that the speculation that it will be closed not for a year but never will be open again is just a fake news.
