Dusk sat with his eyes closed for five minutes like always, coming up with his game plan. He figured that Pike and Butch would be near each other like always. Butch's family gift was being a human voodoo doll. He could hurt himself and whatever he did to himself would latch on to the person he was thinking of. So he wouldn't bleed out and still have the energy to keep fighting, Pike was always at his side feeding on his pain using his family gift to do just that.

Crystal's family gift was the ability to block people's five main senses: touch, taste, hearing, sight, and smell. Right away, Dusk knew she was one to watch. He also knew that the twins might be near her since Crystal could block Dusk's smell and sight from their fire and smoke. Dusk would have to try and go for them last not unless he came up with a good idea.

Honds's gift was the complete opposite of Crystal's. Instead of blocking the five senses, he could heighten his own senses or others if he wanted, which he rarely did, when one of his other senses was blocked. His favorite way to use his gift was close his eyes as if he was sleeping, and use all his other senses to lead him. It made him dangerous when came to fighting.

Another one to look out for was Red's family gift. He was able to change his reality and other's reality to whatever he wanted. Dusk knew he would be a hard one to catch. He also knew that he would follow Para like a baby skull dog. She could only control the wind and probably knock Dusk off his feet more than once, which came in handy for the people that were hiding and not so much for the seeker.

Lastly, Dusk had to watch out for his sister. While his family gift was super strength like his father, Cadi could make people feel weak at the knees with just a look. She could even take his super strength away, one of his best forms of finding.

To win, all Dusk had to do was find each of his friends and tag them. They would be out even if Dusk touched their hand in a fight. The last person left would be considered the winner unless Dusk could tag them in the last ten minutes. If he did, then he would be considered the champion until they played again. The last person who won was Ash who covered in herself in flames so no one could touch her unless they wanted a burnt hand that smelled of fried skull dog. Para was the only one who could blow her fire out, but she wanted a girl to finally win so Honds couldn't win for the third time in a row.

Dusk heard a loud whistle in the distance, signaling that his five minutes were up. He stood up slowly and rubbed his sweaty hands on the front of his pants. Dusk was nervous. His friends were powerful and dangerous, but were they as dangerous at him?

To the east, Dusk felt a wave of heat. The twins were to his left, away from the river since they didn't really like crossing over water. He needed to find Para first and somehow lure her in the twins direction so she could accidentally blow the fire off of them. Cementing his half made plan into his head, Dusk waded across the cold river. It was deep and when he got out the other side, his pants were soaked, it's dark blue turned navy.

Dusk trudged through the woods, eyeing even the trees. Since Opans could change the color of their skin to anything they wanted, they could be one of the trees. Because of this, Opan clothes were made with a special kind of fabric that changes along with the color of skin. Their hair can't change so Dusk looked for the normal black eyes and black hair, knowing that the twins fiery eyes and gray hair weren't in the direction he was walking in.

Hearing the crack of a broken twig, Dusk stopped in his tracks. He could only hear his own breathing and the sound of wind through the trees, the smell of mist hanging in the air. That was it. Wind. Para was close by and that also meant Red was there too.

On instinct, Dusk dug his feet into the ground into a fighting stance. He spun in circles staring at everything that moved. Materializing right in front of Dusk's eyes, Red seemed to sprout from the bark of the tree. His skin changed back to midnight black with a tinge of dark blue, black hair falling over his black eyes, his irises in a hue of red like the blood that ran through his veins.
