Oikawa's pov

"oi! shittykawa , wake up"

I heard the familiar voice of my
childhood friend , Iwa , I opened
my eyes just to see his face near
mine , I stared at his face and
smirked "what you smirking for?"

"you know Iwa chan , if you wanted
a kiss you should've just asked for-"
he cut me off by grabbing one of my
pillows and hitting my face with it

"Iwa chan , so mean" I pout

"tch shut up and start getting ready
for school" he said with an annoyed
look "ah crap..it's 7:03 already?" I let
out a sigh and lazily get up from bed

"if I go to your house tomorrow and
you're still sleeping again I'm so going
to go to school without you" Iwa chan
said , I faked gasped and looked at him
with a hurt expression "you wouldn't!"

he rolled his eyes and laughed

I stared at him and felt my cheeks heat
up...why , why do I keep feeling this
weird feeling whenever I'm with you?

"kyaaa! it's Oikawa senpai!" I looked
behind me and saw a group of girls ,
probably first years , I frowned and let
out a sigh

not wanting to deal with them but
knowing that I have no choice but
to talk to them. "we don't have time
for you fangirls" Iwa chan said and
grabbed my hand "let's run" he said

I only gave him a nod and started
running , with his hand still on mine

"yo , sorry we're late , Oikawa's
fangirls chased us" Iwa chan said
"eh?...why is the captain and the
Vice captain holding hands?" Makki
said Iwa chan immediately let's go
of my hand

while I looked away to hide my blush
"oh..are you two finally dating?"
Kindaichi asked "what do you mean
by finally?!" I asked "whatever...let's
just practice" Iwa chan said

... "Whatever let's just practice"

I frowned , why do I feel sad after
he said that? ugh , this is frustrating
as hell , he's my best friend , my
childhood best friend...but why do
I want to be more? why do I want to
be closer to him?

"do you like Iwaizumi san? Oikawa
san" I looked next to me and saw
Hanamaki "I...what are you , ..ofcourse
I do , he's my friend..." I said

"I think both of us knows what I'm talking
about" he said while smiling playfully "do you have feelings for him?" he asked while tilting his head

do I...? do I have feelings for Iwa chan?
"Is it the reason why my heart keeps
beating so fast whenever I'm with him?
is it why I'm so happy when he held my
hand?"

"yeah, according to everything you
said , you do like the vice captain" I
saw Mattsun next to Hanamaki and
blushed "did I say it all out loud??"

"There's nothing to be embarassed
about Oikawa san" Hanamaki said
"yeah , and I think you and the vice
captain looks cute together" Mattsun
said "r-really?" I asked and he nods

"oi you three , what are you doing?!"
Iwa yelled "please don't tell him..." I
said "sure...but why? don't you want
to let him know?" Hanamaki asked , I
shook my head "I'm still...not sure
with my feelings , and I don't want to
ruin our friendship" I said

"alright...anyways we gotta continue
practicing" Mattsun said while pointing
a very annoyed Iwa

Iwaizumi's pov

school just finished , I waited for
Trashykawa outside the gym but
being the impatient person I am, I
went inside to check him just to
see that he's talking with Hanamaki
and Matsukawa

"are you two sure I should tell him?"
Oikawa asked the two in a worried
tone...the heck are they talking about?

"depends on you , if you want to let
him know about your feelings then
tell him" Matsukawa said

"Yeah , but if you're not ready yet to
confess , that's fine also" Hanamaki
said "well Iwa chan's probably waiting
for me outside , I gotta go , thank you"
Oikawa said "no problem Oikawa san"

I immediately went outside and start
to pretend as If I wasn't listening to
their conversation a minute ago "yo..
Iwa chan , sorry for making you wait
let's go home?" he said and I nod

3rd person pov

Iwaizumi woke up and get ready for
school , while brushing his teeth ,he
couldn't help but think of what the
three were talking about yesterday ,

'so...Oikawa likes someone huh' he
thought and spat the toothpaste ,
'why does it bother me? ...' he frowns
"tch , he probably one of his fangirls"
he said 'wait a minute... but didn't he
said 'him' ??'

"are you two sure I should tell him?"

Why am I so interested in finding out
who's the person he likes??

after getting ready and wondering
whos the person that Oikawa likes
I decided to go to his house , I went
inside by using the spare key that he
gave , I went to his room and knocked

"Oikawa? are you awake? I swear to
god if you're still sleeping-" the door
opened revealing an Oikawa on his
pajamas "you're still on your pjs??"

"Iwa-" he started coughing and was
going to fall but I catched him "oi!
you have a fever! why didn't you tell
me??" I sighed and carried him into
his bed "s-sorry" he mumbled

"tch don't apologize , did you drink
a medicine already?" I asked and he
shook his head "I don't have any.. I
was too tired to get some at the store"
he said , I sighed and leaned closer

"I-Iwa chan?" "Shut up I'm checking
your temperature" I said and placed
my forehead on his "I'll go buy some
medicine for you" I said "but what
about school?" he asked

"idiot , do you think you can go to
school with a fever? just stay here
and rest" I said "B-but how about
you? you'll be late again because of
me" he said "no one's gonna take
care of you if I go to school" I said

"just stop worrying about it" I said
and ruffled his hair "thank you..."

"Oikawa wake up you need to eat
and drink your medicine" I said
while shaking his shoulder "cmon
you need to eat" I said , he yawned
and rubbed his eyes , he stared at
the rice porridge "are you not going
to eat?" I asked

"oh sorry...I was just thinking" he
said and grabbed the spoon "of?"
I asked "you being a kind friend"
he said and started eating

"Oikawa..." "Hmm?" he looked up
"I heard your conversation with
Hanamaki and Matsukawa last night"
I said and he stopped eating

"who is it?"

"I don't know what you're..talking
about Iwa chan" he said "don't lie
to me...who is the person that you
like?" I asked "you don't need to
know..." he said while staring at his
lap "I want to" I said

"fine! it's you!" he yelled

"i-its you , you're the person that I
like Iwa chan...I know it's wrong ,
Because I'm your friend , just that
...but still , I wanted to be more" he
said while wiping his cheeks with
the back of his hand

"can't we be more?" he asked

"idiot" I said and pulled him in a
hug , letting him cry on my chest
"you should've told me sooner..."
"huh?" he said and pulled away
from the hug , I cupped his face
and kissed him "I like you too"
