Right so my AN isn't getting the comment votes so I'm gonna just make my own choice and that way you get the chapters up faster YEY!!!
Hazel POV
After Hazel had made sure Percy had cleaned up and was wearing the purple legionnaire shirt and new jeans, he looked perfect with his rebellious, scruffy looks. Though he seemed to be reluctant to take off his stupid orange shirt with faded writing on. Hazel had told Percy he had bead necklace he'd looked at it and stuffed it down his shirt.
Through out all this Hazel tried to show she wanted to be more than his freind, but when he'd asked her if he could remember anything about a girlfreind he'd looked at her like she was explosive device and clumsily changed the subject. Aw, she thought, he's nervouse.
'Whats that.' She looked where he was pointing.
'Thats the colliseum i'll take you there after we've been to Varus.'
'Righ and who is this varus.'
'He's the one who determins the recruits,' she told him and percy looked and said
'he's not gonna torture me, is he?' he said with a wild look in his eyes.
'Uh, no,' great now she had to explain to her hopefuly future boyfreind 'you were a special case.'
'Right so now because you attaked me i get to get tortured.'
'Sorry percy we had to check if you where a threat you know?' he still looked bitter but he'd calmed down. Hazel had heard about Neptunes children being very difficult to control but she never thought his mood could change so quickly.
When they finally arived at he gods parhtenon they saw a varrus. He wasn't impressive especialy next to percy but when he saw them he stood straigh and looked down like he was so much better than them.
'So your the one who had most of legion chasing you?'
'I suppose so' percy responded looking at Hazel to make sure he was right.
'Well, since you challenged the legoin by your self I don't doudt your bravery but maybe your allegeince, hmm?'
'Reyna has interogated him.' Hazel interjected for percy's sake. Maybe it would help make him fall for her.
'I see,' Varrus said, still unconvinced but even he couldn't challenge reyna. 'Have you visited Lupa.'
'No, i woke up in the woods.' Percy told him.
'Well i sense you mean rome no harm, and the legoin could use someone as resourceful as you so yes you may join.' He looked at percy he probably wanted percy on his good side Hazel thought. Varrus wasn't a nice guy but even he new that percy would be useful to the legion and with the monsters not dieing and them being able to see every move the legion made to take out there weapon stores, they needed every new recruit they could get, and percy may make it to the 1st chohort the so called Preatorian guard.
'Well, Reyna also wants to see you two as well.'
'Really what for?' Hazel asked curiose.
'I don't know. After you get percy his armour and equipment to meet her at the pricepai.' Varrus waved his arm dissmissively being a member of the senate he was probably thinking up a new scheme to get him more power.
When Hazel and percy arrived at he aroury he looked at the steel segmented armour baffeled.
'The armour was gold when i last saw it.'
'Gold? the armours not gold,' Then it hit her. 'Oh, yeah the imperial gold emmitt such a strong light that at quick glance or when your in a rush the entire armour looks gold.' Hazel explaind patiently.
'Oh.' Was all percy responded with he seemed lost in thought as he put his armour on over his clothes.
'You still with me.' Percy came back to earth and looked at Hazel with his beautiful sea green eyes.
'Uh, yeah sorry just thinking, you know about what juno said about raising thebes and this cadmus bloke frank was talking about. Well it just seems to easy for me to accept and this stuff about gods and monsters well it seems like i always knew this,' He looked at Hazel imploringly. It must be tough not remmembering his life.
'Well maybe frank and reyna will have a sollution.' She handed percy his gladius he took it out and examined it critically. She could'nt believe he wasn't in awe she knew she was she saw her first imperial gold weapon.
'The swords to short' He determined he looked at her like Do you give everyone this crap. 'Can't I just use my sword.' He uncapped his pen and put in the sheath so hard it cut threw the tough lether at he bottom. He grinned at her 'See Riptidesway more awesome than that gold crap.'
Hazel rolled her eyes if this son of neptune was going to be her boyfreind he better get more seriose. A few weeks at camp Jupiter and that will make him perfect. Then she'll make her move on him.
'Yeah, well lets go see Reyna and hopefully find out who you are, where you came from-'
'and deal with this Thebes bussines.' He said happily. 'lead the way.
They walked off to Reynas Head Quarters, little did she know that conversation would change her life.
