Al right chapter 3 hope you enjoy. Ceres is demeter in greek myths and Cadmus was the actuel hero who founded thebes and though the myths call him grandson of posiedon i'm classing that he was a pure mortal for this story to make it work.
Hazel POV
Hazel thought her life would always be bad. It wasn't like she didn't have freinds she was a daughter of Ceres so she could make freinds because of her peaceful nature but she did have skill at arms her favorite weapon being a bow. No the reason wasn't lack of freinds or lack of skills it was lack of a boyfreind.
Then this guy stumbles in throws a massive wave the 3rd cohort beats up a couple of people including herself and frank and challenges reyna who had the entire legion at her disposal. He was tall, strong, brave very handsome and the best part? he didn't have a memory so even if he had girlfreind he wouldn't remmember her.
She stood their watching as he had some "enhanced interigation'' Basically reyna was torturing him for awnsers. Two mars kids, one of them being frank, held him in place.
He was whacked in the face again but he didn't seem to be braking. 'Where did you come from?' Reyna yeld again.
'I don't know.' He kept saying that he'd been in here for about an hour, so hazel bagan to think he was telling the truth.
'Fine.' Reyna said distastefuly, 'Do you know anything about a Jason Grace? Juno said you were the awnser to our problems so fix them!' She lost it and hit him 5 more times. Hazel pittie her Jason had missing and now the prator job that was supposed for 2 was hers to shoulder by herself. But she shouldn't take it out on Percy. That was his name he'd us that, atleast.
He looked up defiantly. 'look i don't know where i came from and i don't know why the old bag thought i could help you. But i can't ok so live with it.' That earned him another punch. This time and hazel decided to speak.
'Hey reyna maybe w should give him a chance its obviouse he doesn't know anything about this and if we accept him and help him he may be able to help.' She glared like i was the next to be tortured but then looked back at percy.
'Fine,' She growled as the 2 mars kids let go Reyna was about to storm off but percy who was now standing up. He looked at reyna with pitty i had to do a double take but that was pitty. Pitty for the same person who had just been beating the crap out of him.
'Hey wait up,' his voice was so soft like was making sure none of them would break if he went to loud, he did seem like was that powerful and thats what scared her the most. Hazel could almost feel power coming off him. The only other half-blood she new who radiated power like this was Jason.
'The old hag-' he was cut off by frank
'Show some respect, that was the queen of olympus,' Frank looked a bit angry he was very respectful to the gods, even more than romans have to be.
'Fine hera-' Reyna turned round incredoulesly.
'Hera?' She questioned.
Percy looked anoyed. 'Yes the queen of olympus. Why whats wrong?'
'Hera is the greek name for juno.'
'is their somthing wrong with that.'
'Yes the gods changed to roman after rome destroyed greece.' Reyna continued like they were the only one in the room. Hazel knew she could never do that. She didn't have the rank.
'Uh ok then,' percy replide now very suspicouse of them 'Juno' he said carfuly 'Juno told me to look for power with in my mortal side, uh somthing about raising Thebes to win something.'
'Thebes, you know that was a great greek city. The gretest warriors of greece came from their, they were even more powerful than the spartans after beating them at he batle of Leuctra. But for the queen of olympus to tell you that.' She shook her head clearly mystified.
'She also said somthing about my mortal ancestor.' He added.
'preator reyna.' Frank said respectfuly.
'Speak you have somthing to add Mr Zahng.'
'Their was the mortal who founded Thebes, Cadmus that would explain why the lares call him greacus.'
'Wait, who calls me greg?' Looking at his confused expression he looked so sweet she had to make him her boyfreind.
Reyna and Frank cracked smiles 'Greacus G-R-E-A-C-U-S,'
'Oh,' he said with a blush.
'Hmm, I think you may be right. Take him to Varrus, the augur should be able to ffind out what we need to know maybe percy is the one who will ah jog his visions.' She looked up and down percy, Hazel wanted to tell er to stop but of course she wouldn't and percy still looked tense dispite his mishaps, that were both rather funny.
'Bobby, you may leave, Franck I want you tell me all about these Thebans and this Cadmus, Hazel get percy cleaned up and thne take him to the augur.'
Hazel couldn't but smile perfect time to show she's intrested. 'Sure Reyna. Come on percy lets get you ready.' And off they went but percy stayed tense the hole way, she couldn't help but wonder why?
