"This world can't hurt you
It cuts you deep
And leaves a scar."♠♥♣♦
I decided to stay with Junmyeon and Xiumin for the rest of the day. I didn't wanted to go back because I had done more than what they asked me for and now I wanted to enjoy for a while.Xiumin drove us back to the police station. Just as I got out I was greeted by an angry Junmyeon.
"You think that I won't figure out that it was you who did that?!" His face was red.
I smiled at him and mumbled a little sorry.
Everyone in the police station were relieved that it ended but the environment around the police station was a bit sad. After all they just lost one of their members.Police station was filled with reporters as they were continously bugging the police officials to provide them with some information.
I went to Junmyeon's office with Xiumin.
Xiumin sat down on a chair and sighed heavily while looking at me, "What were you assigned to do today?"
I looked at him with confusion, trying to act innocent. "What do you mean?"
He rolled his eyes and pointed at my finger where YongGuk's ring was. I forgot that I had told Xiumin about this. I grinned at him but he just shook his head."Kang." I spoke up while drawing doodles on a police file. I could literally care less about something important getting ruined.
"What about him?" Xiumin spoke up. He quickly snatched away the police file when he saw what I was doing."You asked about my assignment. So, Kang was my target for today." I spoke up, while drawing mustache on Junmyeon's id-card.
Xiumin laughed and took a marker and joined in, "So, did you kill him? I should arrest you then. You just confessed your crimes."I shook my head. "He never came to the meeting place. It seems like they were planning something big, but after what happened today, I think he might be furious right now." I chuckled.
Soon, Junmyeon came in. We quickly kept the id-card in his drawer and stood up."Hey!" Both of us shouted with a high pitched voice. He looked at us with a sour face and scoffed, "What's up with both of you?" He came towards his seat and started rummaging through the files.
"Yah! Do you want to eat jajangmyeon Junmyeon?" Xiumin spoke up, while grinning at him. "Hey, it rhymed!" I looked at Xiumin and high five him.
Junmyeon groaned and kept on rummaging through the files."Please? It's almost the end of your shift. Stop working so much." I shouted at him.
Xiumin nodded his head while grabbing his jacket.
"Huh...fine, let's go." He slumped his shoulders, not being able to find that particular file. He began looking here and there. He finally opened his drawer and without taking a look at it, he stuffed his id-card into his pocket.Me and Xiumin shared a look but then went out along with Junmyeon trailing behind.
It was getting dark outside. The sun had set and the number of people roaming in the market had increased. We were walking towards a tent restaurant where we usually went. It wasn't anything special or expensive, but that is what made me go there.
Strong fragrance of spices heightened your senses. We went in and sat down on the only table left and ordered. Junmyeon decided to buy something to drink so he got up to inform the shop owner. Me and Xiumin kept chatting. He was telling me about a case they handled last week. A girl complained about her boyfriend and claimed that he was trying to kill her. So, they decided to provide her with police protection. But later it turned out that she was lying and only did that to get close to Junmyeon.
"You should have seen his face. He was totally pissed off!" Xiumin spoke between his laughter.
