CHAPTER FOUR; ENVY

(run boy run part three 2/2)

THE COMMISSION HEADQUARTERS 2019

                        ''ENVY, we have great news for you,'' The handler said to Envy Grace, evil incarnate herself. ''What? Really. You guys be in deep pain nowadays huh? With Five and..ugh..that Gray on the lose,'' she smiled at her reflection while she finished fixing her lipstick. ''Miserable, to be honest. That's why we need you, our best assassin, to go hunt down Miss Gray for us.''

Envy gasped in disbelief and for the sake of being dramatic. ''I have waited sixteen years for this moment to come. So, what's it gonna be? Dead or alive?'' Her evil grin intensifies as she asks The handler. ''Eh, at lease bring her back here before you dismember her.''

''affirmative.''

EL woke up, still on her stool. She almost forgot where she was until she looked at all the paper that was spread out on her dining table. She looked around to notice that, Klaus was right in front of her, eating a Ben & Jerry's mint-chocolate chip ice cream. ''Wakey, wakey,'' he teased putting a spoon full of the ice cream inside his mouth. ''Shit, what time is it?''
''It's Five pm. You were freaking out about some girl named 'Envy' being assigned to some mission and you drank a bottle of vodka that made you drunk as hell.''

''Fuck, fuck, fuck,'' she cursed. ''Envy was definitely sent to kill me." Klaus gaped at her, ''I thought you said this place was safe! This is definitely not the way I want to die. Girl drama is gruesome as fuck.''

''Speak for yourself,'' said Ben. "Yeah, that's why you're gonna go home, I don't give a fuck about your family drama. I don't want you getting involved in this shit show," El announced. Klaus grunted, "do you even know where my house is?" He queried, El let out a scoff, "of course I do."

         AFTER their small quarrel back in El's room, the duo headed to the parking lot. The parking lot was four stories bellow so, they had to endure an awkward elevator ride. Klaus was humming the whole time, Ben was humming with him and El was lost in a bad memory with Envy so she couldn't notice the humming.

            Next thing they knew, they were inside her car. She put on the music to make herself calm and started the engine. "I love this song!" Klaus exclaimed, the song was Rhiannon by Fleetwood Mac. El softly chuckled, as she started to drive. "You know you were pretty funny when you were drunk," Klaus grinned. "You didn't get drunk with me?" She teased, her memory was hazy. She was just hoping to god that she didn't end up naked, "you spilled the vodka on me at least ten times."

                      El giggled. "Well, I hadn't had alcohol in five weeks so I guess I didn't do very well." Klaus blowed a raspberry in disbelief, "Five weeks?! You my friend are as strong as good coke." He pat her shoulder.   From then, they had a long debate about who could stay away from drugs for more than a month but, of course El won their small argument. By the time it was over, they had arrived at the Hargreeves manor, El dropped him off by the gate and said their goodbyes.

El sighs to herself and says, "let's kill this crazy bitch."

           THE MALL was closed. El sat in the middle of the empty food court, she watched the lights blink and the time pass. She was tapping her shoes to the floor making an irritating sound—the only sound that could be heard.
Until, she hears the click of heels coming towards her. Ah, shit here we go again. "Well, well, well. If it isn't doctor Elara Gray. Long time no see," It was Envy. She flipped her blonde hair as she sat the chair on El's front. "This won't have to end gruesomely if you just cone with me to HQ." El who stayed silent the whole time opened her mouth, "they told me that sixteen years ago."

El's fists were glowing purple as she stood up held them towards Envy. The blonde ducked the shifting electric beam that was shot towards her, grunting she reached for her machine gun she likes to call; Boris. "You brought Boris with you how swee-" The brunette was chased by the fifteen bullets that were shot simultaneously.

             Thinking that she killed her nemesis, Envy laughed maniacally but, El was still standing. The bullets surrounded her and they were ready to bounce off, leaving the fight not over. The blonde cursed as she was chased by the bullets she just shot, she was crawling on the floor searching for an end but something had just occurred to her. She faced El who was facing the bullets to her, "tell the handler to go fuck herself."

"And tell your boyfriend and his family they should watch out for me."

Bullets rained on nothing, Envy had disappeared.
