"Are you ready for your first day of Camp, Estelle?" Annabeth Jackson asked while her husband, Percy, took photos of the 10 year old in an oversized Camp Half-Blood t-shirt.
"I guess," Estelle Blofis muttered, covering up Percy's camera lens with her hand to stop the stream of photos.
"Remember, if anyone asks who your godly parent is, just tell them the simplified version, don't go into all the details....that would take too long," Percy reminded his little sister.
"I know, I know. I am a demigod through Poseidon and Athena's blessing even though I have both mortal parents."
"Yeah. Say that. And.....we should probably drive you there so we can fend off monsters."
"Oook....?"
"Alright, let's go!"
Percy was for sure more excited than Estelle was, but she didn't want to say anything. She thought it was kind of wholesome how her big brother and sister-in-law were so excited for her. She started to remember Percy and Annabeth's wedding a few years back, she was 7 and was the flowergirl. She remembered fuzzy memories of the goddess Athena making a peace treatee with Poseidon at the wedding. Estelle remembered the dark brown eyes she had before that night, and how after Poseidon and Athena both declared her to be their demigod child (although they weren't her parents), coming home that night to see heterochromia forming on her irises. Estelle was jostled forward in her seatbelt. The belt locked, thinking there had been a car crash. The airbags inflated, pressing against her face and muffling her screams until she opened the car door to escape, finding not a car accident, but big claws and two big furry paws, one on the car hood and one on the road. Each was the size of a whiteboard, and the body they belonged to was even scarier. As she scanned up the Chimera, the lion head was open-mouthed, ready to eat her.
"HELP!" Estelle screamed, banging on the front car doors for Annabeth and Percy, wondering why they hadn't got out yet. The lion approached, the goat head baaing in agreement.

Estelle grabbed the only weapon she had on hand, a tiny Exacto knife, and kept screaming for Mr. and Ms. Jackson. Were they okay? Did the paw-.....no. Estelle knew her brother and his wife were too strong to die. Estelle felt adrenaline pumping through her blood. The lion was so close that as it rawred, she fell backward with the force of its blow, the snake's tongue almost tapping her shoulder. The lion opened its mouth and-
