Gamabunta was able to attack Shukaku without getting hurt and I grabbed Naruto "Let's go" I ran into a portal with him, and we landed onto Shukaku's head.

Naruto punched Gaara right on the forehead Shukaku cracked into many pieces, and we all fell down. I groaned as I sat up but I couldn't find those two but then they both fell out a tree each.

"Found them" I laughed.

They both look exhausted Naruto used his chin to move towards Gaara "Stop and just talk" I stopped him so he doesn't hurt himself doing that.

"Okay thanks, Scarlett," He told me as I helped him into a sitting position "Gaara I don't know why but I understand your feelings so much that it actually hurts but I have people who are important to me" He held my hand.

"I can't let you hurt them I will have to kill you if you ever do" Naruto warned him.

"But why?" Gaara asked.

"They saved me from loneliness they acknowledged my existence that's why" Naruto explained.

Gaara looked up towards the sky and he has a peaceful look on his face and Sasuke showed up "Sakura is safe" He informed us.

Naruto fell asleep on me "Don't attack them" We saw Temari and Kankuro next to Gaara.

"See you again Scarlett" Gaara smiled at me surprising everyone and I waved at him.

They took him away and once we got back we found out about gramps death we were all left devastated and on the day of the funeral Naruto woke up with no life in his eyes.

"Morning" I ruffled his hair and I smiled at him the best I could.

He seemed to cheer up a bit we got dressed in our black clothes and went to the funeral it even rained. After that, the sky cleared and it felt like it was the start of something else.

I heard from Shikamaru that Haruki went missing after the attack and no one has seen him after the match with me.

"Good I found you Scarlett" Jiraiya came over to me as I made my way to Ichiraku "Now to find Naruto."

"Let's go to Ichiraku," I told him, and he followed me we found him there eating ramen like he usually does.

"You really do eat ramen all the time" Jiraiya commented as Naruto noticed us.

Jiraiya informed us he is going on a research trip and wants us to come with him and there's some woman he wants to find "To research her?" I asked.

"I have no time to waste with your perverted stuff I need to train" Naruto complained, "I'm gonna have Kakashi sensei teach me, like the chidori."

"I don't think you can master that move but the woman I'm talking about is really hot" He tried convincing Naruto.

"No!" Naruto rejected him again.

"What a shame I do know a move that's much more powerful than the chidori" He walked away and I followed intrigued about this move "Guess it will be just me and you Scarlett."

"I'm gonna pack come on Scarlett!" Naruto dragged me back home.

He packed a bag four times the size of him, and we met Jiraiya in front of the gate, and I brought along the book The tales of the Utterly Gutsy Shinobi.

I started reading the book as we walked and I stopped once to see Jiraiya posing on a bridge and Naruto walking past him "Why are you posing?" I asked.

"You heard of me before right?" He asked.

"Nope" I answered honestly, and he fell to his knees in despair and I just carried on walking.
