Chapter 8

I trained with Jiraiya each day and I usually practised controlling demon fire while he researched for his book.

I was reading the book on the way home "SCARLETT!!" I heard Naruto I turned to him but got tackled to the floor.

"Dobe you could have hurt her" Sasuke helped me up and Naruto glared at him.

"How was the mission?" I asked.

"We know how to climb trees now!" Naruto yelled.

"Did you learn how to walk on water as well?" I asked.

"On water? Oh yeah I did see Kakashi sensei do that" Sakura mumbled.

"Who were you taught by?" Sasuke asked me.

"A old pervert" I answered.

"Are you okay?" Sakura asked concerned.

"Yeah he's only into older women and mostly curvy ones" I explained.

Since they got back we did small missions like walking dogs and helping tend to someone's garden. Naruto got walked by the dogs and ruined the gardens as I expected.

We are meeting up again today and probably do another boring mission.

I just finished training and was reading my book until my foot knocked into something I looked down to see "A box trying to be a rock and it has 6 legs human legs" I mumbled and the box started shaking.

"A square rock with two holes doesn't exist!" Naruto exclaimed while pointing at the box.

"Well you never know but this has tape on it as well" I pulled the tape making the box fall in half.

"I should have expected that from my rival!" There was a small explosion with different coloured smoke, and we could then see three kids coughing because of the smoke.

"That was way too much gunpowder" The brown-haired kid whined they all then introduced themselves I noticed that they have the same kind of goggles Naruto used to wear.

"Konohamaru what's with the goggles?" Naruto asked them annoyed.

"We copied you!" Konohamaru exclaimed holding on to the goggles with pride.

"Oh?" Naruto answered showing he isn't interested.

"Well I think that's quite cute" I commented catching Konohamaru's attention.

"You have been mean to us lately at least the pretty girl is nice" He complimented me.

"What do you want anyway?" Naruto sneered at them.

"You promised to play ninja with us" The girl from the group reminded him.

"Sorry but I have training" Naruto smiled excitedly.

"But you promised us" Konohamaru retorted upset with Naruto.

"Well, you did promise them and Kakashi would just get some dogs to walk you again," I told Naruto, and he looked off nervously to the side away from all of us.

"Who cares about playing ninja?" We heard from behind us, and we saw Sakura walking like a zombie.

"Sakura you okay? You seem drunk" I asked.

"What is it?" Naruto asked, Sakura didn't answer and Naruto started laughing making us confused with what is going on.

Konohamaru looks between the two of them then to me and got a creepy smile in his face "Wow your better than I thought they're both your girlfriends right?"

"Yeah yeah, your right!" Naruto laughed happily.

"NEVER!" Sakura shouted and punched Naruto on the head sending him into the fence behind him.
