Damon P.O.V.
I groan As I wake up looking around confuse "what the hell?" I say taking in my surroundings seeing that I'm in a creepy looking basement. I look to my left a see a light brunette walk in smirking towards me with a stake in her hand,"who the hell are you?"i say as I went to get up but she pulled out a gun and shot my shoulder.I groan and glare at her as I grab my shoulder "hello...Damon Salvatore Ex- lover of Angelina Shade,where is she?"she says sternly pointing the gun at me as i winced trying to get up,"again,who wants to know"i responded glaring up at her seeing she did not look happy . She sighed in frustration "I'm Amber Smith,now again where is Angelina"she says shooting me again. I groaned in pain,"what do you want with her?"i grab right shoulder tightly as I wince in pain.
Angelina's pov
Stefan stayed for a while ,catching up with me I always seen him as another sibling to me, well now like an only "living" sibling then he left after Elena called him, since he left all I've been thinking about was what he told me earlier about the whole Katherine thing and how Damon changed throughout the years.i finally decided to head out to the small cafe I seen yesterday "I definitely need coffee in my System" I head upstairs to finally look as alive as possible.

I walk into the cute little cafe called screaming' Beans. I smile as I smell the fresh scent of coffee , I look around as I wait in line humming quietly "next !" I smile at the cute barista name max "hi,can I get hazelnut nut frappe with a vanilla bean cupcake please?" I smile innocently "Alright, name ?" He blushes and smiles "Veronica" He nods "alright that will be 9.89" I nod as I hand him the money "actually give me 10 different cupcakes please " I handed him more money then waited in line.
I feel my phone vibrate as I grab my cup and bag as I pick up seeing Stefan calling "yes Stefan?" I answer slipping my drink "has Damon return to your house" I frown "no why ?" I hear Stefan start to pace around,"he texted me about an hour ago saying he's on his way home but never came back"he says,I get in my car putting my things in the passenger seat,"do you have any clue where he is?"i asked as I put my car keys in the engine "how about I go over to the boarding house" I hear him sighing "ok" I sigh as I start my drive towards the famous boarding house.

I knock on the door as I take a sip of my drink "mm not bad" Stefan opens the door and looks at me "cupcake?"I hold the box up smiling , he chuckled lightly,"sure,come in"he says as i hand him the box of cupcakes so he can take one,as I walked in I went straight for the bourbon after I finished my coffee.Stefan laid the cupcakes on the coffee table,"ok,where did he say he was going?"I asked Stefan as I sat down on the couch drinking my bourbon,"he said he was going to the woods to meet with someone for something"he replied sitting down in front of me from the other couch,"hm,how long has he been missing?"I asked again putting down my cup taking a cupcake,"like 4 Hours"he responded then realized hit him,"what did Damon do"Stefan groaned as he went to call someone,"oh lord Damon why"I say shaking my head.I take a big sip of my bourbon, I walk around as I follow the scent of Damon to his room as I look at the door sighing as I rest my head on the door "oh Damon if only things were different" I walk back downstairs as I grab more bourbon "I should take a bottle" Stefan looks at me shaking his head "really?"

I shrug "what! I really need this or else my emotions are going to go up the walls!" I open the top and take a gulp smiling.

Just as Stefan and I were getting into my car a unknown man came running to us "wait wait! Take me with you" I look at Stefan confuse as he sigh "This is Alaric, Damon's best friend" I wave and smile "Hi , I'm Veron-she's Angelina" Stefan cuts me off staring at me as I glare at him.I sigh and nod to my car "get in and don't touch my bottle back there , I'm stealing it from Damon" I unlock my car and get in as they both get in. We been driving to at least 25 minutes trying to find his famous blue car.

I sigh as I look to the side "Stop!" I hit the brakes hard as I look at Stefan "w-what!" He points to the side , I see someone Familiar as I pale even more as I let out a shaking breath as Stefan looks at me and Alaric looks at each other confuse "you know him?" I swallow thickly "you could say that.... experience any psychotic ex?" I laugh nervously as I rest my head on the steering wheel. "I promise I'll tell you after we save your brother..."
