It's been two weeks since we all moved into the tower. After that night we made Friday's game night where we just gathered in the living room, played games, dick around, and slept on the floor.
I wake up, rolling out of bed and slump to the kitchen. I walk into the kitchen and see Clint pick up the last donut. I speed over, taking the donut from him and lean in the doorway. He doesn't notice that I took it so he bites his hand.
"What the..." He looks in the doorway to see me munching on the donut I stole from him. He glares at me and I just smirk.
"What's wrong?" I ask innocently.
"Seriously! That was the last donut!" Someone's mad now.
"That's why I took it." I lick my fingers after shoving the last bit of the donut in my mouth.
"You can't go a whole day without your speed," Clint mutters.
"Is that a challenge I hear?" I ask.
"Yeah. I bet you can't go the whole day without using your speed." He challenges.
"Oh it's on. If I win, you have to do my chores for the next month."
"Alright and if I win, you have to face Bruce."
"That's not so bad." I shrug.
"As the Hulk." He finishes. My heart drops. Is he trying to get me killed? Clint notices my hesitation. "Someone scared?" He smirks.
"Of course I'm not scared," I say, defensively. "You've got yourself a deal." We shake hands.
He looks over at the clock and smirks. "Well you better hurry. School starts soon."
I look over at the clock. It's 7:30 and if I'm not at school by 7:45 I'm late and I have never been late before. "Shit." I run out of the kitchen as Clint laughs behind me.
I rush to my room, throw on some clothes then go to Steve's room. I barge in without knocking.
"Steve I need you..." I trail off as I see Steve in his boxers. His hair is still wet so he must have just gotten out of the shower. I caught myself staring at his body and I can feel my face flush a bright red. What can I say, I'm a sucker for abs and he has some mighty fine abs. "S-steve I-I need you to drive me to school." I stutter out and force myself to look at his face instead.
Steve recovers from the shock of me barging in and notices me looking at his body. He smirks. "Like what you see." He jokes.
I feel my cheeks burn a bright red, feeling stupid for being caught staring. "Shut the fuck up," I say, not sparing a glance at him and look to the floor.
He laughs at my embarrassment. "So what did you want?" He asks.
"I need you to drive me to school," I repeat to him.
He furrows his brow and begins putting his clothes on. "You always run to school though." He says as he puts on some shorts.
"I made a bet with Clint so I can't use my speed for the whole day or I'll have to face Hulk in battle which I don't want to do because I'll die and I have ten minutes to get to school so can you drive me please?" I ramble.
He puts a shirt on. "Yeah. I hope you're not afraid of motorcycles."
"As long as I get to school on time then I couldn't care less." He nods and we rush to the garage part of the tower.
Steve hops on the motorcycle and hands me a helmet.
"Safety first." He says.
"Seriously? I'm an Avenger. You really think I'm gonna get hurt by a motorcycle?" I give him a 'really' look.
