1 year later
I walk out of the elevator and into the Avenger's Tower. Stark made the Stark Tower into the Avenger's Tower. I walk into an area that looks like the living room, dragging my suitcase with me. I look around in awe. The whole room is bigger than my house.
"This house is bitchin!" I exclaim. I continue to look at the room, to my left there are huge couches and chairs with a big ass TV, to my right is where you can walk into the kitchen which I'll have to explore later. There was a hallway a little off to the left and one that was a little off to the right.
"Hello Ms. (L/n)." A voice says.
I look up, trying to find the source of the voice. "Hello?"
"My apologies Ms. (L/n). My name is JARVIS which stands for Just A Rather Very Intelligent System. I am Mr. Stark's personal artificial intelligence system." The voice, JARVIS, says.
"Oh, you're the one Tony is always talking to in his suit."
"Indeed. Would you like me to inform the rest of the team of your arrival?"
"Sure." Everything in this building is so fancy. I think I could get used to this.
Steve was the first to walk into the room, he cut his hair a little so now it spikes up. He sees me and flashes me a toothy grin. I run into his arms and he picks me up, spinning me around.
"I missed you," I say as he places me down and I hug him super tight.
"I missed you too." He hugs back.
During our year apart Steve called me every now and then. We caught up or I would suggest things he should check out so he could be caught up with our society. My mom caught me on the phone with him a few months ago and told me to invite him over which meant I finally had to tell my dad about me being a superhero. Steve found a place in Brooklyn and I live in Queens so it wasn't that much of a distance. We invited him over for dinner and we all know how parents are. They embarrass you by showing pictures or telling stories of something dumb you did. After that we went up to my room where I introduced him to video games and made him sit there and listen to modern music. A few hours later we eventually fell asleep by accident on my bed while watching a movie. We were both out of it, but it was still fun.
The rest of the Avengers come into the room as we pull away. I hug Clint, Bruce, and Natasha. Tony I gave a fist pump, we're not on that level yet.
I notice Thor was the only one missing. "Where's Thor?"
"He's on Asgard. There's no way to contact him, but he's probably doing some Asgardian business." Tony replies with a shrug.
"Where's the rest of your stuff?" Bruce asks, indicating to my one and only suitcase.
"Left it at my house since this is only temporary. I'm going back home every now and then."
"Speaking of homes, Tony why aren't you at your house in Malibu?" Clint asks.
"It's being rebuilt. It's a long story." Tony responds simply.
"He means he threatened terrorists," I respond. He looks at me shocked at how I know. "Yeah I watch the news."
"You threatened terrorists?" Steve questions.
"Look it wasn't my brightest idea."
"Since when do you ever have any of those." Natasha fires at him.
Before Tony could fire back I cut in. "So why were we called here anyway?"
"Because there may be a new threat." A very familiar voice says. A figure walks out of the shadows, Fury. This man really loves hiding in the shadows.
