Chapter 1

It was yet another boring day for our protagonist. Y/N was returning home after a long day at school. She was walking with her back bent due to exhaustion and a heavy school bag.

All she wanted was to go back home and sleep and watch her favorite band and anime. She was walking home all alone. As she was passing a cinema theatre she saw her favorite anime Naruto's poster there. She kept on staring at the poster in awe.

She didn't look where she was going and was lost in thoughts of Naruto.

BAM!!

She had hit a pole face first.

"Ah ouch!", she groaned and massaged her head which was turning red.

A passerby was looking at her weirdly and passing whispering. She turned red and ran towards her home in embarrassment.

She reached her home and dashed towards her room after removing her shoes.

"I am home!!!!!"

Her mother was shocked by her daughter's sudden appearance and then disappearance.

"Y/N how was school?"

She peeked through her room's door and said with a gloomy expression, "Same old lessons, same old fake students, mom."

Her mother just sighed, and then smile, "I have something to make your mood bright, just guess what?"

She raised her eyebrows, her mother smiled, "I have brought you a new BTS album with a new Naruto game. And to top it all, I am making your favorite thing (fav. food) tonight.

Y/N's jaw dropped, she came running and tackled her mother in a tight hug.

" Eeeeks!!!!! Mom, you are so great, I love you so much. Thank you so much."

Her mother just hugged her only daughter back while chuckling.

She let her mother go, "Where is it?"

"I have kept it in your room, but first go and wash up, you cute little sweaty kid."

She pinched her daughter's nose, "Ouchie, mommy lemme go."

Y/N's voice sounded funny, her mother let her go and she dashed towards her room and locked it.

"DON'T FORGET YOUR HOMEWORK AND COME DOWN FOR FOOD IF YOU ARE HUNGRY!!!"

"OKAY MOM!"

Her mother sighed and looked through her wallet, she was short of cash. Her pay was delayed and she was yet to pay all the bills and expenses of Y/N's school. Being a single mother was not easy. Her mother had financial trouble but she never let Y/n know this.

She knew how her daughter gets bullied, so it's the least she could do to make her daughter happy. Her happiness mattered the most to M/N.

Y/n got ready after taking a bath and eating her lunch. Now here she was in her room with her PS attached to her television. And the album of her favorite band BTS.

"What is better than sitting in your room with your favorite people, so let's---"

"Y/N????!!!!!!"

Y/n groaned in annoyance and went downstairs to where her mom was calling. She saw her mom getting all ready and it looked like she was going somewhere.

"Mom, are you going somewhere?"

Her mother nodded and smiled at her, "Yeah sweetie, I have to go and be safe, I may come home late okay?"
