Chapter 6

A dark blue-haired boy was sitting on the shore of a small fast-flowing stream lost in thought.
He had a thoughtful look on his face.
He raised his hand towards the stream and closed his eyes.
Few droplets of water raised from the stream and collected on his palm.
He opened his sea-green eyes and the water droplets took the shape of smelardo flower. Soon it froze up and landed on his hand.
The flower had 6 petals.
He held the flower in his hand and gazed at it.
The 6 petals reminded him of his members cum brothers.
Yes, he missed them a lot.

Were they still fighting?
Is the band broken?
Have they all gone separate ways?
Do they miss him?

He had so many questions but no one to answer.
"Jin!"
He got startled and almost shrieked when someone tapped his shoulder.
The frozen flower slipped out of his hand but it was caught before it could hit the ground and shatter.
Jin's eyes looked up to see the owner of the hand.
The person was a young girl around the age of 17, she had long dark brown hair and crystal blue eyes.
She gave Jin a toothy grin and after returning the flower back to him, sat beside him.
"Aish! You gave me a heart attack right now, Sayumi."
"Hey! I am older than you, ya know?"
Jin rolled his eyes and gave a smirk, "But, you act like a child."
Sayumi glared at him but Jin didn't care.
Her eyes then fell on the frozen flower.
"That's a very pretty flower ya know?"
Jin's smile faded when he looked at his creation and was reminded of the boys.
Sayumi noticed and rubbed his back.
"Hey, are you still upset about what happened? Oh, come on! Jin, it wasn't your fault as far as I can say."

Jin shook his head and removed her hand from his back gently.
"You don't understand Sayumi, I am the oldest but I failed to be responsible enough to notice the growing bitterness among them. I just, I just want to be with them again, t-they were my family,
And I still don't know what they are doing or where are they? Or have they all been separated?"

Jin broke down and buried his face in his hands sobbing.
Sayumi bit her bottom lip, she felt sad to see him in this condition after all he was her friend.
Suddenly an idea popped into her head.
"Hey! Jin, I think I know someone who can help you with this."
Sayumi stood up excitedly making Jin look at her questioningly.
"What do you mean?"

Sayumi grabbed his hand and pulled him up to stand.

"Let's go to the Mizukage, she might be able to help us."

She dragged Jin with her to the Mizukage's office.

Sayumi knocked at Mizukage's door when she heard a 'come in' both of them entered.

"Oh! Sayumi, what brings you and Jin here?"

"Mo-Lady Mizukage, you do know the situation about Jin right?"

Mizukage nodded her head, "I do."

"I want you to help him out, please."

Mizukage folded her hands and rested them on the table after putting her chin on it, "How?"

"You told me tha-"

Sayumi felt uncomfortable under the gaze of her mother's assistant.
The person understood and stepped out of the room after closing the door behind him.

"You told me that Hokage confirms that some strange things have been happening all around the five nation's, something about random strangers appearing out of nowhere.
And as long as I think and believe Jin's appearance maybe because of that too. The Hokage also said that they got a new anbu op. But ain't it weird? Since we all are aware we are not to reveal the arrival of a new anbu to others?"

Mizukage looked in deep thought.
"But how can it help Jin?"

"What if the new anbu is somehow related to Jin?"

Jin looked at Sayumi with a surprised look.

"By any chance, does that mean t--that my b-brothers m-might be here?"

Sayumi just nodded, "I request you, please send Jin to see if it's true or not since Chunin exams are approaching no one will be suspicious of our actions and besides all the ninjas around the 5 nation's are coming and if those rumors about weird people appearing out of nowhere are true? And if one way or the other they are related to Jin then maybe he can go back home. I mean, I may not be 100%sure but it may be possible. We may never know.
And since Jin is one of the most talented shinobi I believe he can handle himself just fine.
Please, mother."

Her mother thought for a while she was about to say 'no' but when she saw the look and emotions flowing in her daughter's blue eyes she gave in.

"Alright, Jin start packing you are to leave for the leaf village in three days' time along with Sayumi."
Sayumi looked at her mom with a confused look.

"I am sending you just in case things don't go accordingly. If things turn out to be dangerous. Return back immediately. I mean it."

Sayumi and Jin both nodded and after bowing they went out of the room.

"Jin, please take care of my daughter."
Jin nodded and followed Sayumi.

"Yess!! Jin!! Finally, you have got the chance to meet them maybe, now you could confront them about what you couldn't earlier?"

Jin sighed, "I guess."
Sayumi smiled and walked ahead of him with a happy soul.

Maybe I could meet you all and tell you what I wanted to say. I hope you guys are doing okay? I am nervous.
