2) School is hard

N woke up to the sound of her alarm. She quickly muted it as she looked at her phone. Monday, 06:00AM. She would honestly rather stay in bed than get up and get ready for school.

School was tough, and especially when you weren't really the popular one. N and her best friend weren't really the most popular girls at school and they had never been. What made school even harder was the fact that their class didn't even want to talk to them, like not even for one minute.

It was hard, however, they at least had each other. Their friendship was like no other! Incredible!❤️❤️ They honestly preferred it that way, them being outsiders and just being the two of them. They always had fun just the two of them and they shared literally everything with each other. There was no shame to hide in their friendship. Amazing isn't it?

N got ready for school and went to take the bus. She then got to the school where her best friend was already waiting for her. They hugged each other like they always did.

N: "Hii, missed you!"
N's bff (me): "Missed you too N!"
N: "So, what was that thing you wanted to tell me? I have just been thinking about it all day since you said it's something you need to tell me in person"
Bff: "Omg yes! I can't wait to share this with you!!! I'm literally shaking just thinking about it! So, remember-"

She was cut off by the teacher who had arrived. Shit, the class had begun and the girls had to stop talking. Damn, they had to wait for the break to talk about the amazing news.

As time passed, they got a 10 minute break which was more than enough for the girls. They immediately got op from their seat to sit together.

N: "Damn, just when the teacher arrived"
Bff: "I know right, that was really bad timing!"
N: "So tell me! What happened! I'm so curious" she screamed.
Bff: "Yes!! So you know the guy I have been talking to for the past 4 months..."
N: "Mark? Omg did something happen between you??"
Bff: "Well, you know how much I love him"
N: "Of course I do, you're like soooo in love with him" she teased.
Bff: "Hahaha stop it😂 So well something might have happened..."
N: "No way!! What?"
Bff: "Yesterday Mark asked me if I wanted to be his girlfriend!!!!!!"
N: "NO WAY!!! Seriously?!!! OMG!!"
Bff: "I know!!!!! And I said yes!!"
N: "OMG!!!! I'm so happy for you!!!! You two deserve each other!!! I'm crying"
Bff: "I was debating weather I should call you or tell you in person and I figured I wanted your live reaction. I'm literally still thinking this is a dream"
N: "Yo! This is reality! You are dating the love of your life! Finally he asked you!! I told you he loves you too!!!"
Bff: "Thank you so much!! I'm like, emotional now😭 Now we just need you and Jimin to start dating!" she teased.
N: "Oh stop it... like he is ever going to even talk to me😥" she said as she looked down.

Park Jimin, the most popular guy at their school. Everyone loved him! He had everything, the looks, intelligence and well, he was just lacking the personality. You see, Jimin might be the coolest and most handsome guy at school, but he was also a fuckboi, or at least that's what the rumor says. He was always rude towards those who had lower status than him a school which was literally everyone.

The was just that almost every girl had a crush on him, and N was one of them. She had a hugeeee crush on Jimin, and have had that for the longest time. The thing is this that N is an unpopular shy student and Jimin is the complete opposite. Popular, extroverted and everyone knew him. So in N's mind, she had no chance with him. However N's bff believed that Jimin would one day ask her out, not because he wanted to play her but because he loved her.

Bff: "Come on!! I know that deep down he likes you! And besides, you have spoken to him
several times"
N: "Those times doesn't count, they were either him asking me to move or asking me about directions or homework"
Bff: "So? He asked you out of all people! Besides when those interactions happened you were so happy and you literally cried for days so quit saying hey don't matter. I just started dating my dream guy who I NEVER thought would like me, so I promise you that one day, when the timing is right, you and Jimin will start dating too"
N: "Thank you for believing in that😭"
Bff: "Don't worry! I'm here for you and I will make sure it happens soon!"
N: "If only it would..." she said sadly.
Bff: "It will" she said as the girls hugged.
