You bleed the colour grey.
Your eyes pour liquid mercury
And your soul was dipped into a murky abyss. When you look at me it's cold
The frame has frost at the edges
Your stare is unnerving and yet I wouldn't dare to look away. You're no good, but I know the darkness in your heart is no match for mine...
You bleed the colour gray.Your mood never too bright yet never too dull.
Your smile, crooked just enough for me to know of the pain that hides beneath. You never held me right....
Either you let me lay alone
Or you squeezed too tight,
.Your laugh never seemed right.
Too high pitched to be real
But the tears in the corner of your eyes begged to differ. You bled the colour gray.
And like the evening sky in the middle of a rain storm, you had me.
And then
you didnt. You bleed the colour of indifference
While I sit in the corner with red dripping from my hear.
Hoping and praying for it not to tear apart.

The Adventures Of A Wondering Heart
PoetryThis is a book containing the poems/things I write at 4am. This is my own form of therapy, my place for unfiltered self expression. And if for whatever reason someone reads it and enjoys it, it's my own way of saying that you're not alone. So enjoy.
