Taehyung's light footsteps thudded through the hall, clutching onto the blanket wrapped around him like a cape. His bare feet hurt with each step, as the floors were rough, occasional splinters lying around. He didn't exactly have a destination planned, but became curious of the boat.

Another pair of footsteps echoed behind Taehyung, the clicking boots stomping. Of course, it was the infamous pirate, he wanted his blanket back. Jungkook kept his sight on the moving blanket, gaining speed as he closed the distance between.

The smell of food wafted through the air, the strong scent of spices enhancing it.

Taehyung, pestered the smell, feeling it growing stronger as he followed it like a dog. He rounded the corner of the next hall, opening the nearest door on his right.

There, in the almost-cleaned kitchen (it was in the middle of being reorganized) were the trio: Namjoon, Jin, and Jiwhoon.

Taehyung ran up to Jiwhoon, cowering behind him as he stared intently at the door. The trio had shock evident in their faces, but also turned their attention to see their captain out of breath.

"Wait...he can...run?!" Jiwhoon looked down to see Taehyung clutching onto him.

"Yeah, and he stole something of mine." Jungkook heaved, gripping onto the wall for support.

"You said that you didn't want me!" Taehyung exclaimed.

"In my bed Taehyung! Or maybe I should throw you off this ship!" Jungkook retorted, his mind agreeing more with the second option.

"He won't let me sleep!" Taehyung pouted, shaking Jiwhoon's shoulder.

"Well...maybe Jungkook should let you sleep?" Jiwhoon was ultimately confused.

"No! He wants to sleep on my bed!" Jungkook immediately declined the suggestion.

"Well why can't he?" Jin asked, confusion at the way Jungkook was acting.

"Um...because...well— It's my bed though." Jungkook struggled to what he was going to say.

"Then sleep on Jiwhoon's." Namjoon shrugged, focusing back on his task.

"Actually, I'm going to go take a nap." Jiwhoon mumbled, dashing out the room.

"Why don't you sleep on my bed for now? I'll just room with Joon for now." Jin offered, shooting a quick glare at Jungkook.

"Problem solved." Jungkook clapped his hands, whisking himself out of the kitchen, not bothering to hear what the siren would say.

"Don't you think he's acting a little strange these days?" Namjoon mumbled, pondering on the thought.

"He's...still trying to push everyone away. I'm glad that he somewhat seems to be like the kookie before." Jin sighed, turning around to continue scrubbing the dishes.

"Before?" Taehyung's curiosity sparked.

"Ah...I didn't know you were still here. What's your name?" Jin gave a small smile.

"Taehyung." The said siren copied Jin's expression, adorning a small, tight-lipped smile.

"Were you the one who fixed the ship?" Namjoon already knew it, but he had to be sure.

"I...think so....?" Taehyung's head tilted softly to the side in confusion.

Jungkook paced the deck for a millionth time, sighing every now and then, his eyebrows furrowed in deep thought. He had a strange feeling, the continuous feeling that the blue-haired male isn't going to do him any good.

And so, being the stupid idiot Jungkook is in the story, came up with a great plan.

His one goal? Getting rid of the siren.
How does he accomplish it? Well, he doesn't know yet.
Why is he doing it? uh, personal reasons.

Perhaps it was just Jungkook foreshadowing, thinking that Taehyung will be the end of him, or maybe just make it worse than it already is. He realized he softened up too much since the siren invaded his property.

Jungkook made his way back inside, swiftly walking deep below the decks of the ship. Barely anyone went down there, with the exception of Jiwhoon and his never ending list of chores to maintain.

Jungkook was a regular visitor, striding into a messy room that was off-limits to everyone but himself. Bookshelves lined the walls, dusty, old books with decaying covers resting on their spot. Cobwebs hung themselves in the corners of the room, empty spider carcasses scrunched up into tiny black beads. Brittle, browned papers strewn across the desk and carpeted floor, hiding the once used to be vibrant fabric. His hand crawled against the grooved wall, trying to find the switch that activated the light.

A dim light enveloped the room with an orange glow, flickering every now and then, struggling to produce light. Jungkook's heels were muffled by the old carpet, not bothering to avoid the papers that crunched in agony as they were being stepped on carelessly.

Sitting down on the leather coated chair, he tried to recollect his mind, debating with himself where there or not he should proceed with his brilliant idea.

Namjoon escorted Taehyung out to the deck, chattering being tossed back and forth as the two held a conversation. Namjoon tried his best to follow along, trying not to confuse the younger.

"What do you think of Jungkook?" Namjoon pondered. (Cue. Jungkook sneezing)

"He's nice...and pretty!" Taehyung chilled for a second, brushing off the times where Jungkook almost killed him.

Namjoon's eyes widened in surprise, not expecting an answer like that. He recalled briefly of all the past partners Jungkook had, all of them, not even one spoke something of similar to what Taehyung has said.
"That's right, he is good." Namjoon smiled softly, ruffling the soft blue locks on the other's head.

As the two stood near the edge of the ship, they joked around, and talked for eons.

It was when Taehyung noticed in the distance, a silhouette with clumps of blue and white on it.
"What's that?" He pointed past Namjoon's face.

Namjoon swung his head to look, internally rejoicing as he thought there would be a village that would help them.
"That's land, maybe there are people who can help us over there." He smiled in relief.

"People? Like you? And...me?" Taehyung pointed towards him, his gaze acting down to remember that a pair of feet were there in replacement of his tail.

"Yes, people like you and me." Namjoon reassured.

"Bad people?"

"They will help us."

But, little did they know, things are about to get a little hectic.
