---Will's POV---

I had to confess that it was exhilarating to watch Kim run alongside Kath, knowing that she couldn't see a thing. Whenever they wandered off a bit, Kim would stretch her arm to relocate Kath or she just followed the music. At the end of the run, Kath was huffing and panting like her life depended on it while Kim took deep breaths but seemed okay.

Now I was sitting in my car with my fingers tapping on the wheel. I was going to follow Kim back home, needing to know where she lived so I could visit her in my wolf form. Kath pulled out of the parking spot and floored it, with me on her tail. I still left a discreet distance between us; if Kath would look in her rear mirror while I stalked them....

I parked my car when Kath stopped on the driveway of a moderate, normal house. I was secretly comparing it to my house and I scoffed lightly. How could I compare any normal, human house to our pack-house, created to harbor the whole pack when needed?

Kath was reversing out of the driveway wile Kim waved slightly, yelling "Same time tomorrow Kath!" Kath replied with a honk of the horn before she sped off, leaving us in the street. I quickly darted behind a three and shifted in my grey wolf. Clothes weren't a problem, seeing that they clung to us as a second skin.

I had to remember to thank our scientists for that; they had created clothing designed for werewolves, so that we wouldn't stand stark naked when we shifted back. Plus, it would cost a lot of money if you would have to buy clothes all the time.

Pinning my ears up, I located Kim's heartbeat in the house and I found it quite shocking that she was home alone. Surely, someone would come to check on her often? I mean, a blind girl, on her own? How does she even cook for starters?

I swiftly padded towards the wooden porch, where I shifted back and looked through the windows. My wolf-instincts were very much alive, seeing that Kim's senses were slightly more intense than any normal human.

Kim was wandering around in the kitchen, feeling at the edges of every drawer. I noticed that every drawer had a few Braille writings on them. She dug up a few pots and pushed the drawer close with her hips. I felt myself smirk at that move while my eyes were glued on her.

Kim let out a big sigh while she puts the pots on the stove and filled one of them with water. "Guess it's another meal just for Me." she murmured while she pressed on her watch. It told her what time it was and Kim nodded to herself before she pulled the lid of a jar filled with pasta.

I snickered internally 'Good to know that our mate can cook.' I was standing there, watching her like some creepy stalker how she cooked her pasta and pulled several containers out of the fridge, sniffing at them, before she kept one and ditched the others.

About eight minutes after she came home, she had cooked herself some spaghetti. Just when she was about to sit down, a phone going off pierced the silence. Kim quickly pulled her cellphone out and said "Hello?" while she spun some pasta on her fork.

"Hey honey, are you home yet?" a woman's voice replied and Kim rolled her eyes while she chewed on the mouthful of pasta before she swallowed and replied, "Yes, I'm home. When are you guys coming home?" I focused my eyes on Kim; her voice had a sharp edge on it, a combination of pain, anger and sadness.

"Kim, you know as well as I do that we have to work hard. Your education isn't cheap you know. I'll be back by the end of the week and your father has several cases to work on so... probably next weekend." Kim's mother replied and Kim held the phone away for a few seconds, taking a deep breath before she let it out in a huff and pinched her nose bridge.

"Honey, are you there?"

She swiftly placed the phone back to her ear and asked, "This working addiction of you both, has it anything to do with the fact that I became blind?" Kim snapped at the phone while she pushed her nearly untouched, full plate away.
