Third Person's P.O.V
One month had passed since the day the captain of the Seven Deadly Sins passed away. Everyone went their separate ways. King and Diane were in the fairy king's forest, Gowther was in prison, Merlin was who knows were together with Escanor, and Ban was in Liones helping fight off the demons while taking care of Elaine's body. Meliodas, Helbram, and Hawk stayed in the Boar Hat to watch over Elizabeth's body as well as Hikari who has yet to wake up.
"Here's the five mugs of all you ordered gentlemen!" Meliodas shouted cheerfully as he set the mugs down on the table surrounded by men.
"Thanks kid!" One of the men shouted while Meliodas smiled at him then walked off to Helbram who was the barkeep.
"Meliodas can I take my break now?" Helbram asked happily while he thought about seeing Hikari's face again. It had been a few hours since he was able to check on her.
"Of course! Now Hawk, help clean up~!" Meliodas continued to smile while getting more mugs of ale for customers.
"On it!" Hawk shouted with excitement and moments later Helbram walked upstairs into Hikari's room.
"Hikari...why haven't you woke up yet? This is...a new beginning for us. So please...wake up." Helbram muttered softly while tears fell from his eyes. He got on his knees to hold onto her limp hands that were light as a feather.
"I love you Hikari...don't leave me...please. Once you wake up...let's go on a date." Helbram layed his head on Hikari's stomach as he continued to cry. He missed seeing her smile and wanted to spend more time with her. Hikari's hand flinched in his grasp and it immediately made him face her.
"Hikari...?" Helbram muttered and seconds later Hikari opened her eyes slowly. She stared into his eyes and smiled happily.
"Helbram...so it worked. I was able to bring you back." Hikari muttered tiredly and he soon helped her sit up then pulled her into his arms.
"Hikari...I'm so glad..." Helbram began to smile and held onto Hikari tighter, causing her to blush.
"I heard you say you love me and want to take me out on a date~" Hikari hummed while wrapping her arms around his waist.
"I do and let's go right now! I want to spend every moment I have with you!" Helbram then noticed Hikari's left eye had the goddess symbol. He was scared because he knew she would now die in three days.
"So you now noticed huh? Don't worry! Somehow the curse is gone but my body carries distorted space and time in it. It's strange but that's the best way I can explain it!" Hikari smiled happily and kissed his cheek. However she was hiding something that Helbram or anyone else knew about.
"The Supreme Goddess took purified my curse...but said some was left over. I don't know what she meant...she is evil right? She cursed mother...so why save me? Both gods want my help in killing the other..." Hikari thought to herself and soon the door opened to reveal Meliodas and Hawk. Helbram smiled and explained to them everything Hikari told him.
"So then...you won't die?" Hawk muttered while tears fell from his eyes and Hikari nodded.
"Yup!" Hikari smiled as Hawk jumped into her arms while he continued to cry tears of joy.
"Hikari...I'm sorry. Your mother and I...we didn't mean to abandon you. The curse caused all of this to happen. Please give me the chance to be a good father! And Elizabeth for being a good mother!" Meliodas began to cry while walking closer to the bed. Helbram took Hawk and got off the bed to give you two some space.
"Father...there is nothing to forgive! I know it's not your fault for what happened. I still love you and mother!" Hikari smiled as Meliodas hugged her close while crying even more.
"Thank you...!" Meliodas blurted out while crying even more. After so much suffering, their happy family was complete...
