Chapter One

                                                                                                                             The Girl
               I stare at the picture across from the mirror. Why am I here? What is my name? None of that matters anymore. All I know is that I'm waiting for someone. Who is it though? Could it be my mom and dad? There is a single picture across from the mirror. Who are those people? All I know is that they are a family. I use to talk to them like they were actually here, like they were my family. I would always pretend I was the little girl, and that they were my parents and siblings. Did I know them at some point? There was other pictures in the room, but they were wearing away. I turn my back to the room, looking into the empty void.

               This void is the place I call home.Where was I? There is a piece of glass missing on the top left corner, mabey I am in a picture? I close my eyes. I wish I had a friend to talk to, it's kinda lonely in here. I close my eyes and imagine that wasn't stuck here, and I was with my family. I know I have a family, everyone has a family. I just don't know where mine is or when I will see them again. That is, if I see them again. What if i escaped this place, what then? Where would I go? I wish there was a window so I could see what is going on outside. I sigh. All I have is this room and the black void. Why? Why am I here? Did I do something wrong? Did something else do something wrong that got me trapped here. I touch the glass. Crash!!! I hear I strange noise. It sounded like it came from downstairs. Footsteps go around the house. I duck down out of sight, not wanting to let them see me. I hear the door to the room push open, and i start to tremble. Who is that? What do they want? Would they hurt me? I take a deep breath and decide to peek up, mainly out of curiosity. Big mstake. A boy in a blue mask sees me. I can't tell how he feels because of the mask. Will he hurt me?
