                                                                                                                             The Girl

I have my back turned to the room. I watch the empty void, waiting for E.J. to come back. I close my eyes for a while, but then the visions come.

I was in the woods, playing in a sunny feild next to a bright blue lake. I look into the clear blue water, waiting for someone. My parents, I must be waiting for my parents. I turn around to see a man and a women walking towards me. The woman is wearing a dark blue dress and has shoulder length h/c hair, a bit darker than mine. The man is wearing a black suit and has light brown hair. Both of their faces are blurred, but I somehow reconize them. The woman calls me over to her, but I don't get my name.
Later that same night, I'm back at the house and writing something in a notebook. I can't read what it says, it's all blury, like the man and woman's face. I hear glass shatter against a wall and a woman yelling. I put my notebook in a drawer beside my bed and walk down the stairs. The woman rushes over to the stairs. Without saying anything, she grabs my hand and drags me up the stairs, not saying a word. We go into the room, the one with the mirror in it. She locks me in the hardly noticable closet, and I hear someone stomping up the stairs. I hear a little girl scream, and I hear heels running out of the room. A woman's scream and stomping into the room is what follows. The man rips open the door and I feel a pain in my stomach. The last thing I see is a boy talking to a mirror with a girl in it.

E.J: Hello?

The girl: Oh, hi...

E.J: Are you ok?

The girl: Yeah, I'm fine.

E.J: Are you sure?

The girl: Yeah, I just had a bad dream.

He just looks at me, not saying anything. I look at the closet from the nightmare. The door was rotting and looked like a part of the wall. How could I explain where it was to him?

E.J: Do you wanna talk about it?

I point to the door. He looked where I was pointing then looked back at me.
