I'm walking threw the woods when I come aross an abandoned house. For whatever reason I decide to explore it. I go to open the door, but when I try to push it open, it falls down. I step back out of shock, but then I continue forward. The house is really old and run down. It is full of cobwebs and bugs. I wonder how long it has been sitting here collecting dust. My mind told me to get out of the house and go back home, but my gut was screaming at me to stay. I'll just walk around the bottom floor, I thought. Nothing but junk is on the bottom floor. I start to walk to the door, but I paused at the stairs. I glance up, suddenly feeling the urge to go up the stairs. Slowly creeping up the stairs, i make my way to the room at the end of the hall. I'm suprized the stairs didn't collapse, and why didn't I explore any other room? Why do I feel the urge to go in this room exactly? As I approach the door, it slowly creeks open, as if it's expecting me. Honestly, I'm suprized i didn't leave right then and there.

I sneak into the room, half expecting to see someone waiting for me. No one is there, although there is a lot of paintings. Most of them are worn out, exept for one directly across from a mirror. I go over and look at the painting. There are parents, a teenage girl, a younger boy, and a baby, held in it's mothers arms. I walk towards the door, then I turn, eyeing the mirror. Something just felt off. I see a girl peek out of the bottom of the mirror. We stare at each other long enough for me to know it's not my imagination.

E.J: It's okay I won't hurt you.

She doesn't respond, and I'm standing here hoping she will.
