Bad Idea?

I awkwardly clambered inside the limousine without thinking and sat down next to Freddie.

"What on earth were you doing out there?"

"I got pissed off at my date.. so uhm.. I didn't really have another option if I didn't want to look stupid.." I said, embarrassed.

He took my hands in his and tried to warm them up, bring them to his mouth and blowing his warm breath onto them and holding them tightly between his own.

I couldn't help but blush, this was so sweet of him.

"Jesus Christ, you're freezing," he mumbled. I stared down at his hands holding mine, him following suit.

"What did your date do that was so awful?" he questioned, meeting my eyes.

"Being cold and rude. No where near as a gentleman as you!" I giggled.

"Ah," Freddie replied with a chuckle.
"I'd treat you better," he said, looking out the window as if what he had just said meant nothing.

"Where's your girlfriend?" I asked after an awkward silence.

"She said she wanted to go out to a club with her friend. I'd usually say yes but I am much too tired today," he sighed.

"Where are we going?" I asked suddenly, forgetting that I was being whisked away to god knows where.

"To my house, of course!" he exclaimed like it was obvious.

"B-But I have work and I need to feed my cat- and I need to finish those papers and-"

"Shh, calm down, dear. It'll be fine. Do you have neighbours? Call them and ask to feed your cat. I don't suppose you can be late for once?"

I thought about what he had just said. Surely I wouldn't want to pass up this opportunity - to go to Freddie Mercury's house?

I slowly started nodding, "Y-Yes. Ok, it'll be fine," I calmed myself down.

Without notice, Freddie swung his arm around my shoulder and leaned back, looking out the window as if everything was normal. I slowly relaxed back too, leaning on him slightly.

"You smell nice," he said randomly.

"Do I?"

"You do," he smiled. We met eyes briefly before I looked away.

"God you really are an awkward little thing aren't you," he chuckled under his breath.

We arrived at the house a couple of minutes later and my god was it big. Big windows with many lights glowing through. It had a massive garden and big flower bushes and water fountains. It was beautiful.

I hadn't noticed that Freddie had gotten out already.

"I don't suppose you'd want to come inside?" he huffed impatiently.

Again, I just got flustered and awkward as I got out, tripping as I did. Freddie's arms caught me.

"Are you sure you haven't been drinking dear?" he chuckled and loosened his grip.

"Oh fuck off!" I laughed and got my balance. By now it was dark outside - and cold. I shivered against my coat which Freddie OF COURSE, HAD TO SEE, and dragged me inside. The fire was lit and I could here the clinking of glasses in another room.

"F-Freddie won't Mary be mad that I'm here?" I asked nervously, not knowing if I should ask about this.

"Oh don't be so full of yourself, dear. We're not going to do anything!" Freddie frowned.
