I walk out of third period and see Blake leaned up against the lockers. I smile and look down. No way he is waiting for me.

"Hey, Jones." I smile as I keep walking.

He doesn't follow. I look back to see him walking with Luke. I roll my eyes.

He at least acknowledged me.

I pull out my phone as it buzzes in my hand.

Handsome; I'm still scared, but I'm getting braver.
Me; Thank you.
Handsome; You're making me realize a lot.

I smile as I stuff my phone back in my pocket.

After 7th period I'm walking to my car as I see Blake leaned up against his. It looks like he's waiting for someone.

He smiles as he waves at me.

I blush at his actions.

I turn around and see Seth behind me waving back at his best friend.

My heart shatters as I finally reach my car.

What is he scared of?

I look back to Blake's Rover, I see him looking at me. I shake my head as I get in my car.

Handsome; Please don't be mad at me.
Me; I don't know if I can do this anymore Blake. It's been over a month since we started hanging out and sneaking around. I don't know anymore...
Handsome; Please babe... don't do this... Come over tonight I'll prove to you you're special to me.

I roll my eyes.

Me; Your last chance.

I put my phone in my cup holder as I make the drive back home.

A couple of hours later I find myself in the Walker House's driveway.

I see Blake walking to my car. I see him carrying a bouquet of daisies. I get out of my car and blush at his gesture.

He pulls me into his arms. I look down at his attire; blue button-up, paired with khaki pants.

His eyes roam my body. My floral dress fits me in all the right places.

"Wow." His words spread a fire in me. I kiss his lips softly. He deepens the kiss by pulling my hips into him.

We hear a woman clearing her throat. We jump apart and see his mom standing behind us.

"Hi, Cara. Nice to see you again." She gives me a devious smile. I blush as I look down, "Nice to see you again too Alice." She pulls me into a hug.

"I'm so glad Blake found someone worth keeping around." I blush as my eyes go towards Blake. He's stuffing his hands in his pocket as his smile goes wide across his face.

"Well let's go in. Dinner should be ready soon." Alice suggests.

We walk into the main house. I see an old man in a wheelchair.

This must be his grandpa. His senile grandpa.

"Hi..." He cuts me off. "Finally Blake brings a girl home. I was beginning to get worried he was gay."

"Dad!" "Grandpa!" Alice and Blake say shocked.

I couldn't help but laugh as I grab Blake's hand.

"No, I can reassure you Blake certainly isn't gay." He smiles as he opens his arms. I gladly go to him and hug him.

"Dinner is ready." I see the caregiver walk out of the dining room. She wheels Grandpa into the dining room.
