I walk into the party with Seth. Party's in full swing by the time we get there. I spot Blake and Brandon in the corner. Seth leads us straight for them. My heart can't act normal around him right now.

"Hey, I'm gonna get us some drinks," I say in Seth's ear. He smiles down at me, "okay." His hand lets go of mine and I find my way to the kitchen. I see Kelly smiling at me. "So you and Seth." She wiggles her eyebrows at me. I smile and roll my eyes. "No, I just wanted to be nice and not turn him down in front of all Comp class," I reveal. She laughs, as she hands me 2 drinks from the cooler. I turn as I run into a hard chest. I look up and see the most familiar green eyes. My heart races a million miles an hour. "Looking good Cara." I blush at his comment. With that, I walk out of the kitchen.

I see Seth flirting with a blonde from across the room. I half laugh and turn to put one of the beers back, again I run into Blake's chest. "What are you doing Blake?" I say into his ear just us to hear.

"Cara, I'm making sure you're staying safe. I meant what I said the other night." His eyes flash genuine.

I hand him the other beer.

"Are you ready to tell everyone about us?" I ask him innocently.

"Maybe." He smiles. My heart goes haywire. I want this so bad.

"There you are." Seth walks up to us. We jump apart.

Seth smiles as his arm goes around me. I roll my eyes. Blake's fist clenches around the can in his hand.

"What are you two talking about?" I quickly look at Blake to see if he'll finally confess.

"Nothing, I was just asking her if she knows where the bathroom is."

"I don't," I say tightly.

With that, he walks away.

My heart shatters. I plaster a smile on my face.

"Let's go mingle." He leads me to his friends.

After about an hour and 3 beers, I'm stumbling. "Seth, I think I want to go," I say to my date.

"Are you crazy? We've only been here an hour." He says in more of a shout. I can tell he's getting pretty buzzed too.

"Seth please, I can barely stand." I slur, swaying.

He rolls his eyes. "Find someone else to take you home if you want to go home so bad."

I roll my eyes as I stumble away from him. I walk outside on the verge of tears. I want Blake.

No, you don't Cara, he just broke your heart.

"You okay Cara?" I hear the familiar deep voice behind me. I turn to him with tears in my eyes. He rushes to me. His arms slip around my torso. "You're okay babe." He whispers in my ear.

"I just want to go home." I sob into his chest. "Of course." We climb into his Rover. I can tell he's completely sober.

He drives me back to his house. "I said to my house," I say matter-of-factly.

"I know your mom would freak out if you came home drunk."

That's true.

"So stay here. Sleep it off."

I hunch in his passenger's seat. "Cara, talk to me." He turns to me. Tears on the verge again.

"Blake, you have no idea how bad you hurt me tonight?" I say.

"How?" He asks.

"You had the chance to tell Seth but you didn't," I say let the tears stream down my face.

"I'm sorry Cara, I wanted to tell him, but something was telling me that it wasn't the right time." I hunch. "Will it ever be the right time to tell people that we are together?" I ask.

He shrugs.

"Blake, I want you. I want all of you. I want your friends to see the side of you that you reserve just for me." I say.

He just shakes his head.

"I love you, Blake Gibbs." I lean over and kiss his lips gently.

"I love you too Cara Jones. I promise I'll tell them soon."

How many times is he going to tell me that?

I feel my phone buzz on the nightstand beside me. I roll over on my side and see Seth's name.

I give a strange look on my phone.

Seth; Hey can you call me real quick got a question?

I roll my eyes.

Blake's arm securely around my waist. I don't want to move in fear of waking Blake up.

Me; Can't call right now. What do you want?
Seth; Who took you home?

My heart races.

Do I lie or finally tell the truth behind Blake's back.

Lie.

Me; I called my older brother.
Seth; So you're home?
Me; Yep. Soundly in bed.

Blake stirs behind me. I put my phone back on the nightstand.

I turn to see Blake's eyes still shut. "Babe, you okay?" He asks in the sexiest sleepy voice.

I smile, "yeah."

"Who texted you?" He asks with his eyes still shut. "Seth. He was making sure I got home." His eyes open slowly, "what did you say?"

"Don't worry I kept us a secret. I told him my brother came and got me." His eyes look down to my lips.

"I'm sorry." He says as he kisses my lips. "It's okay," I say as he releases the kiss.

"I'm just tired of hiding us." I turn over.

"Cara, look at me?" He asks. I turn to look at him. His eyes shine in the moonlit room. "I swear I will tell them soon."

When is it soon?

"Okay, Blake," I say tightly.

Not believing it this time.

I turn back over as he cuddles into my backside.

The next morning I wake up and see Blake still soundly sleeping. I wiggle out of his embrace.

I get out of it safely, as I find my party clothes on the ground. I turn to see his mostly naked body sleeping soundly.

I strip from Blake's shirt. I feel his strong arms around my torso. "Don't leave yet. At least let me make you breakfast." He suggests. I roll my eyes at his romantic gesture.

"Okay." I sigh as I give in.

He spins me to face him. "I want to wake up to this view forever." I blush. "Gosh, you're beautiful." He puts his forehead to mine. "I love you, Blake Gibbs." "I love you too Cara Jones."

We get dressed as we make our way down to the kitchen. We see his mom sitting there sipping her coffee. "Oh hey, Cara, I didn't know you spent the night."

Blake didn't tell his mom. Why?

"I'm sorry I hope that's okay. Just my mom would freak out if I came home drunk."

"It's okay sweetie, you're always welcome here." She gives me a bright smile as she winks to her son. He rolls his eyes with a big smile on his face. "Take a seat. I'll make you breakfast."

"No Blake sit down. I'll make you guys breakfast. I don't want you to burn the house down." She winks at me. I chuckle as I sip on my milk.

"Haha, mom you're so funny." He says handing her the pan.

He takes his seat next to me.
