Training

For the first 3 months of pregnancy, Natasha would be expected to perform the same as she did before the positive tests. As the months progressed, her rigorous training mellowed out as to cope with the crowing child inside of her.
She was 3 months along, her belly had a fair sized bump, but it looked like an excess of fat on a perfect and slim body. Sasha made sure that whenever Natasha fought, so one went easy on her. It became a burden to need to protect her stomach from incoming hits, when she was used to taking slight blows to the stomach.
James "Bucky" Barns wasn't exactly having a party with this news either. He wasn't able to be around to play the doting father, both did their best to not get attached to the growing stomach. It was nerve wracking, and he pushed himself to train even harder to keep his mind off of the baby he helped create. He, like Natasha, was being pushed even harder than before to pay for their foolish actions. Since he wasn't the one who was pregnant, he had the hardest punishment, yet he knew Natasha's would be even worse once she gave birth. The baby had become her Kevlar vest of sorts, no one was able to do anything to her as soon as she reached 4 months.
4 months. 4 months of this bullshit. Natasha was at the worst stage of pregnancy. She still felt nauseous at times, she was developing back pains and cravings, and it became harder to see her feet, move quickly, and stay awake. She did her best to stay fit and strong so her baby would also be strong; yet lately she had no energy to do anything but read books, and drink decaffeinated tea. No longer was she allowed to thrive off of hard Russian vodka, or black coffee; she yearned to try red meat again, or even to just fade a scrap of food that wasn't made by herself. She had to prep her own meals everyday, even though it would be easier to assign any girl to do it, headmistress Sasha decided it would be best to make Natasha prep it herself. Even though it was frustrating, it was a good idea; only because the competition in the Red room was so harsh, you couldn't trust anyone to not poison your food. Natasha and Bucky had built up an immunity to all poisons, yet it's possible certain ones didn't make it through the cells of her baby, and thus certain poisons could be potentially harmful to the fragile thing. It was annoying how careful she had to be with her swelled stomach. Slow movements, constant watch for corners, and constant checking for stains that might have appeared.
Only 4 months along, and she already wanted to rip the thing out of her stomach. She had to admit to her conscience, she was developing a certain need to protect the growing fetus. As much as she tried to deny it, her maternal instincts were kicking in, which made this situation a lot more complicated.
