After the crazy events of sneaking out of Zishan's HQ and Aliah having an asthma attack and and falling into a coma we decided to "lay low".
Nadia was surprisingly devastated after the news and as soon as she got home she proceeded to curl up in a ball and drink ice cold milk.
I emptied the dirty dustpan into the bin and sighed, wiping the beads of sweat I made my way to the kitchen and began cooking dinner.
"Hey Nadia?" I called.
She grunted in response.
"D'you feel like some noodles?"
She grunted in response.
"Are you even listening to me?"
She grunted in response.
Frustrated and angry I slammed the pan onto the stove, causing Nadia to jump and slop milk over herself.
"Now look what you made me do!" She hissed.
I snatched a cloth and stomped towards her, flinging it in her face I pointed an accusing finger in her face.
"Stop this crap and pull yourself together! What is even wrong with you?"
She looked at me, and burst into floods of tears.
"I'm sorry," she wept. "I just.....I....,"
Bewildered at her sudden mood swing I hugged her tight. "Shush, shhhhhh, tell me what's wrong," I whispered softly.
She hiccouged. "I just feel guilty...... I just....I feel like its all my fault....no Jameela shut up! Just listen to me," she took a deep breath. "If she doesn't wake up, it'll kill me, it could take weeks, days, months, but I'll always have that regret, I wish I was nicer to her, the first thing I'm gonna do is apologise,"
She exhaled and a few tears seeped out of the corner of her eyes. I smiled.
"Nadia, sisters fight, its okay, besides, she will wake up," I said firmly, more to myself than her. "We just have to pray, now are we gonna have noodles or what? "
She smiled. "That sounds great,"
