Felix, he wasn't that socialized person you would expect, if any thing would be scary about school, it would be Felix. He wouldn't actually really talk unless if you talk to him first. Since no one really talks to him, he stays quiet.
He isn't welcoming. He sat all alone in a corner, gazing at the sky with a blank face. He was always like that.
"Mr. Lee Felix!" his teacher called out, from the sudden call, he jolted up. "Answer the problem." she said, pointing at the sentence written on the board. He stood up, looking at the board. His figure was still, his eyes were frozen on the board.
Everyone was already gazing at him, Felix felt eyes on him (which made him uncomfortable). His hands were shaking from the unsettling classroom he's facing.
"I'm sorry, but do you mind repeating the question in a specific way?" He said, trying to maintain calm.
Mrs. Jung sighs, already tired of explaining for a million times.
"If you paid attention on what I was discussing earlier, maybe you could've answered," she said, in a way that made Felix feel more awkward. "Sit down." she said, gesturing him to sit down and listen.
After that uneasy experience Felix had, he sat down, huffing a sigh. All he wanted was to go home, and rant every single thing to Chan.
Chan was the only person he loved, they were friends from baby to now. It all started when Felix sat at a swing all alone there. Since the other equipments were already occupied by lots of kids, Chan couldn't really find a place to play at. Chan came to the boy who was hugging his parka, sitting of to the side, looking at the ground while rocking the swing back and forth softly. "Can I play here?" Chan asks.
From the sudden sound, the Australian looked up seeing Chan. He was in awe as he was asked by the boy, he had bright and innocent eyes.
Felix nodded, although he was really shy, he managed to respond to the boy and be friends with him. Chan occupies the other seat beside Felix.
"I'm Chan, what's your name?" The boy asks, "I'm Felix," the latter replied. He didn't really expected a answer from the aforementioned, he just thought to make things less awkward, he'll make up a small talk.
"Wanna play at the sandpit?" Chan asks, pointing at the sandpit that was empty now. Felix' lips tug into a huge smile, and he nods.
They both got off the swing and ran to the sandpit, in excitement.
That was the first time they met, after that, they would always meet at the playground. Those days were full of laughter and tears.
It was a hard time for Felix to keep up, since Chan wasn't always there for him, he was on his own. It was always like that for him, he gets pressured alot.
Another sigh slips off of the boy's mouth and continues to stare at the window.

the bell rings, signalling the students that it was now time to go home. Felix gets up, already in relief. He grabs his backpack and leaves his classroom. It was currently raining, light rain drops were heard outside. The boy digs something through his backpack, but realised it wasn't there. He groaned as he remembered he forgot his phone.
He sighs and walked through the rain, hastening his steps.
