Peach and the red haired demon

Before the storm

After a few seconds of being in the room and already getting bored, Akura decided to get up and go to the kitchen to look for something tasty. He entered it and went to look into the cabinets until he found some peaches there so, he helped himself to the sweet goodness. "Mm, these always taste so good." He was really enjoying them.

Since the spirit woman had disappeared Momo felt more relaxed and got in the mood to make something sweet. "Blake, help me make a pie. I've got some peaches in the kitchen, I'm going to get some more." She said as she showed him the direction to the kitchen then walked to the garden.

"Sure, but what about that woman who just disappeared." Blake wasn't about to let his guard so easily yet.

"We will find her. If you feel unsure tthen you can check the house after we make the pie"

"Sure"

"Then I will go get more peaches" She walked away.

"Okay. Mind if I go with you? I don't feel like you should be alone, not since that demon is hanging around here. You heard him that he wants to kill you, I can kick him out of here. It would be safer this way." 

"I don't mind at all." She smiled at him. "Also, please do not touch him. I don't really want him to go." Momo said as she looked at him with a serious face.

"Fine, but mind if I ask why you want him to stay so badly?"

"Because I love him." She smiled at him while her face brighted up when talking about that.

"You.. Love him? I didn't expect that. It doesn't seem like he cares about you that much at all, yet you somehow love him. Why is that?" Blake got surprised.

"I can't really tell, but once he is here, I feel way safer than when I'm alone or with anyone else. My love for him does not have a clear reason, but I know that it's true and that it will never stop."

"I see... I might not really understand that or approve of it since he is dangerous, but at least I can respect your feelings for him. I will leave him be then."

"Thank you." Momo smiled at him. "Wait, first I need to check how many peaches I have. I don't want to take more than I need." She said as she walked to the kitchen.

By that time Akura had already finish eating all the peaches he could find so, he was about to exist the kitchen.

"Oh? Akura? What were you doing in the kitchen? Also, if you don't have anything to do today, would you like to stay and eat with us? I was about to make a peach pie." She smiled at Akura as she noticed him leaving the kitchen.

Akura looked at Momo. "I'm not doing anything... Yet." -But once I get a good chance I will have to kill her- "I don't want anything else, I already helped myself to all the peaches anyways. You should go get more because here is nothing left." Then he just walked past the woman.

"Why so cold lately? Did something happen?" Momo said as she followed him worriedly.

Since Emma ended up teleporting into Blake's room she tried finding the door but she was kinda too curious about the rest to notice it. "Eh." -I shouldn't look around in here. Where am I?- After she looked around, the spirit woman finally noticed the door and came out. But there were so many rooms. "WhErE iS tHe ExIt?!?!" She shouted irritated. -I don't want to get hurt or kicked out by the Familiar.. my powers don't seem to work long today-. Emma started walking, not sure where the exit was. The spirit woman continued to walk until she bumped into Blake who had just returned from the garden and was walking a bit behind Momo. "-!"

"Hey! What are you still doing here?"

"I-I'm sorry." She backed off a bit. "I was supposed to teleport out of this shrine but I accidently teleported to a room.. My powers don't work properly in here and I can't find the exit." She explained, in hope he wouldn't be mad. "Please forgive me.."

"Fine, the exit is that way." Blake pointed to the exit. "Now, would you mind leaving, I should be by my mistress side"

"Talking about your mistress." Emma closed her eyes while listening. "She needs more peaches. Go see for yourself." Then she rushed out of the shrine.

Ha, how good it must be to be so oblivious to everything. I am cold because that's who I am. I am not a person who you think I am or you should feel love towards too. I do not approve of love, it is stupid to me. I am a demon after all. I just want to have my fun in my own way and not be locked up by some stupid emotions or relationships." The red haired demon stated coldly while stopping.

She was kind of shocked by what he said but insteand of being mad she smiled at him and said softly "I understand. But please try to smile from time to time. Being mad all the time will make you really unhappy. Also, please know that you don't have to feel the same way as me. By the way thanks for coming here today. Your visit made me really happy. Now if you will excuse me I have to go get more peaches" Momo bowed to him before walking away but then bumped into Blake. 

"Are you okay mistress, I'm sorry that I got distracted, I hope nothing bad happened to you." Blake asked with worry in his voice.

"No. I am fine. Let's go get the peaches." She kept smiling.

But before Momo could leave, Akura stopped her. "You do realize what I came here for in the first place? And you still say you are happy to see me? Heh, that's why I despise love, it makes you stupid."

"True. It really makes you stupid." The goddess only smiled bitterly while looking down.

Blake decided to speak up to the demon."You should be at least a bit greatfull that someone can even love you."

Akura turned to Blake. "Well, I don't care about that so mind your own business kitty pet."

"I am not an actual pet you know."

"It's still pretty much the same. Being a familiar is like being a pet, there's not much difference at all."

"Enough you two." Momo cut in between them.

"Fine." Akura walked out of the kitchen, but before that, as he went past Momo, he whispered to her. "Come to my room later."

She nodded and smiled a bit even if she knew that she shouldn't.

Blake actually heard what the demon said because of his good hearing. "Mistress, I hope you won't do what he said. You know it's not a good idea. And if you still want to go to his room then please let me go with you"

"I'm sorry Blake, but I can't. He wanted me to come to his room, not us. And if he wants to kill me, it would be a pleasure to make him smile. I know that he likes to kill." She smiled.

"But.. Is it worth giving your life for someone who doesn't even care about you?..." Blake lowered his head and ears letting his voice get quieter and trail off.
