"Hey, what's wrong?"

I asked Jordan who seemed visibly shaken.

"He's in trouble. And a lot of it," Raven explained.

"What did he do this time?" Raven shot me a look of confusion.

"Just a joke, calm down."

"The people here," Raven paused, "they're after Jordan."

"And why would that be?" I asked, not really expecting much.

"I don't know." She turned to Jordan. He seemed nervous, like he was waiting for the other shoe to drop.

"Well, umm, when I was being treated, I was offered the mind drives, and I," he paused, like saying this hurt his heart, "I took them hoping to be able to live with Delilah."

He dropped his head with disappointment and pain.

"So why are they hunting you though?"

"The mind drives belong to the most sacred primes, The Lee's"

"So what, I'm just supposed to hide him in the palace?"

"No," Raven said, "command the people to stop going after Jordan, and Jordan, you have to give Murphy the drives."

Jordan stared at Raven, thinking.

"Here," he said, handing the drives to Raven. She gave them to me.

"Well, you guys go to my room, and I'll make the announcement." Raven nodded and walked away with Jordan.

What do I tell these people? That we're good guys? I turned back to see where Raven was. Gone.

I walked up to the microphone Russel used when preaching before trying to burn us. What a dumbass.

"People of Sanctum, gather around. I have an announcement." People started piling up in front of the palace. I even saw Echo.

"As some of you may or may not know, the Lightbournes erased the Lees mind drives. They MURDERED the Lees. Due to that horrendous crime, someone here," I started scanning the crowed to see if anyone was uncomfortable, "offered one of the mind drives to Jordan Green. Jordan took this offer in hopes of living alongside Delilah Workman. As we know now, that is not possible. I need everyone here that thinks Jordan must be punished for stealing a drive to stop. Because it was not stolen, and it has been returned."

I lifted up the drive and walked back into the palace.

Never. Doing that. Again.
