What if Jack had come along with Lumen to the world of Azure Striker Gunvolt?
"I remember asking you this question before... Would you like to come with me? I mean you don't have to, but if you'd like, you can." Lumen says. Jack takes some time to think about it before coming to a realization: this might have been a one way ticket, but he would be seen as an outcast to the rest of his world. If he was going to keep the Azure Striker, it might be in his best favor to come with Lumen to her world, where it's a little more common.
"I've decided Lumen. I'll come with you. If I'm going to have this septima, I may as well be in a world where it's more common." Jack replies as he throws on a denim jacket and makes sure he has what he needs for the start of his new life. "Shall we Lumen?" He asks as he extends his hand.
"This should make sure we don't lose each other. Let's." Lumen replies as the two hold hands and enter the wormhole. As it closes behind them they let go and changes are almost like magic- Lumen's ring vanishes as her wings regain their full color and Jack's ring transforms, encasing Jack's right hand as if it were a bionic replacement. Jack's clothes also undergo a transformation, transforming from a simple shirt, jeans, jacket and sneakers combo to that of a black combat uniform of some sorts complete with a cape, and his dart gun vanishes completely. When the two are finally through the wormhole, Jack examines his bionic hand, which has a glowing blue light on the back.
"This is interesting." Jack chuckles. "But where's Lumen?"
"I'm floating right beside you." Lumen replies as she materializes next to Jack.
"I almost forgot you were like a fairy." Jack chuckles. "We need to find GV so I can reunite the both of you."
"Good idea." Lumen replies as Jack gets a feel for his new bionic hand.
"I think my dart gun fused with this hand. I can tag and use my septima with this now." Jack says. "Let's go Lumen!"
"Right!" Lumen replies as the two take off! The two run about the various streets in search of GV, and they stop to take a break when all of a sudden they feel the ground shake. "What the gack?!"
"Huh?! What on earth?!" Jack asks as he turns around to see a giant green mech walking towards them. It has four legs with wheels hidden within, it's head is white and it uses a rocket battery along with machine guns.
"It's a mantis! Be on guard!" Lumen shouts as the mantis lets out a mechanical roar, but as it does something pops out from the back of the mantis.
"Wait... That looks like a power core!" Jack says.
"Make it overheat so it'll come back out!" Lumen replies.
"Got it!" Jack shouts as the mantis fires it's machine guns. Jack quickly dodges and fires off a series of darts from his bionic hand, tagging the mantis' head before letting loose lightning! Unfortunately the bolts simply bounce off without any ill effect. "What?!"
"Is it immune now?!" Lumen shouts in shock. "This isn't good! That was the only way GV was able to make it overheat!"
"There has to be another way!" Jack shouts as the mantis fires a barrage of missiles! Jack lets loose his lightning and safely detonates the missiles from afar as he darts towards the back and notices something. "Seems like they traded core protection for extra frontal armor, that's it!" Jack shouts as he tags the core. The darts stick right in and Jack lets loose his lightning once more! This proves to be the mantis' downfall as the core is destroyed and it explodes! When the smoke clears the only thing left of the mantis are it's scraps, and someone emerges, someone with the longest blond braid Jack had ever seen, and he wears a lot of blue.
"What the?! Joule?!" The man shouts. "What are you doing with Joule?!"
"I made sure she was safe." Jack begins to explain, but a stray bolt of lightning nearly hits him. "Hey!"
"Give Joule back right now!" The man shouts.
"GV! GV! Calm down! Can you let us explain?!" Lumen shouts even louder.
"...Huh?" The man now known as GV asks.
"It's a long story." Jack replies as he transfers Lumen to GV. "If you'll let us explain."
"Okay, shoot." GV says.
