One fine Wednesday afternoon, Percy was shunting The Flying Kipper for Henry to take to Vicarstown. As he was moving some vans, he began to daydream about a certain blue tank engine. Percy dreamed that Thomas telling him to come the the abandoned sheds at Abbey. While he was daydreaming, he hadn't realized that he'd shuted too many trucks together until it was too late.
"Aye! Who did that?"
"Oops! Sorry Arthur... I didn't see you there. Heh." Percy got lost in thought when the large LMS engine rolled beside him. Arthur saw that the small green engine was distracted with something. He thought for a few minutes and then asked Percy what was on his mind.
"Um... well... okay fine. I've been thinking about." Percy was soon cut off by Arthur.
"Thomas. You've been thinking about him, haven't you." Quizzed the large engine.
"Yeah, I have." Faulted Percy. He wasn't really the type of engine to say his feelings out loud... that he knew about. So he spilled the tea about his emotions and about how he feels about Thomas. This went on for a good hour when, the yard master called out to the engines.
"Oi! Hurry up with 'em vans there, Percy! Kipper's in two hours!" Percy went into full on panic mode, and shoved the vans together. While desperately trying to make up for lost time, he didn't know that he'd ran a red signal, nor the fact that he was on the mainline. He rushed through Knapford the switches were jammed and Percy almost ran into poor Duck.
"Sorry, Duck!" Cried Percy.
"It's fine..." Said a confused Duck. Percy tore down the line as fast as his small wheels could carry him. As sweat poured down his cheeks, he passed Thomas. Thomas looked at Percy with a warm smile, and Percy felt like he'd grown wings. He felt so happy that the only engine he'd ever loved, gave him a smile. After an hour, he arrived at Brendam Docks. He panted heavily, and felt tired. He rolled into the small sheds beside the mighty, yet kind, Bear. Bear looked down to see his little friend tired and weary.
"Percy, my boy. What happened?" Asked the big diesel slowly. He gave the saddle tank some time to answer. Percy then spoke what sounded like gibberish to Bear. The Hymek looked at his friend with both fear and confusion. He then whispered to Percy. "Can you say that again, but this time... slowly, clearly and, much quieter, please." Percy felt happier with Bear, and told him about his race against time.
"And then I rushed down the line to see the most handsome engine ever." Percy got lost in his thoughts again. He did that often wheneverhe saw Thomas. After a half hour of silence, Bear disturbed Percy for his train of thought, with his horn.
"Are you awake yet?"
"Yes. Why do you ask?" It then dawned on Percy. It hit him like lightning when Bear said what Percy feared the most.
"You were talking in your sleep again, Percy. Do you do that often?" Although Percy and the big diesel were best friends,  Bear didn't know a lot about Percy when he sleeps. Percy started to shake with fear. His eyes shot up to Bear with a touch of fear in them.
"W-what d-d-did I s-say?" He stuttered. Bear looked at Percy, and Percy looked back at Bear.
"Would you like me to tell you?" Asked the Hymek slowly.
"S-sure." It took Bear some time to word it out. Then he told the small engine exactly what he'd said while he was asleep. Both engines felt sick when Bear was done. Percy's face went a dark green and, Bear was trying not to gag.
"So... I said all of that... in my sleep?" Percy quizzed. He felt very strange after hearing what he said in that small period of time.
"Every word." Replied Bear. Both engines shuddered with disgust. Percy never knew that he could ever say the majority of the words that he'd said whilst he was asleep. He then realized something that he'd pondered about ever since he moved in with the Little Western engines and Toad.
"So... if I say that every night, is that why I'm left alone in the sheds? Yet again, Emily doesn't work on the Little Western, so why is he beside be when I wake up?" Percy thought long and hard when he herd a familiar whistle from the yard. It was Douglas. He had just arrived at Brendam when he herd Percy's whistle. "Douglas! Wait up!" Percy panted up beside the 812 class.
"Percy, what's wrong?" Douglas asked. Percy tried to speak but he was still trying to catch his breath.
" Do... you... guys... leave the... sheds... because..."
"Aye. We leave because you talk in your sleep. You've said some... uh, very questionable things for a wee little engine."
"But why is Emily always beside me when I wake up?"
"Who knows. Maybe she likes you. I don't know, maybe you should ask her, if you want." While the two enginws were discussing Percy's problem with sleep talking, a certain engine was watching them from the goods shed. She wasn't pleased.
"Stay. Away. From. Senpai..."
