After chatting with Douglas, Percy happily puffed to Ffarquar to sleep there for awhile. As he was happily rolled down the line, at a slow pace, he herd a deep whistle grow louder and louder. He thought the the ghost of The Blue Black 5 was after him. So, following his cowardly instincts, he fled down the branch as fast as his little wheels could carry him. As he tore through Toryreck, he herd a familiar Scottish accent call for him. The voice repeated to say his ne over and over again.
"Emily? Is that you?" He called.
"Yes! It is! Wait up!" Percy slowed down a bit so Emily could catch up. She rooled up to him and, started to talk to him, in a disturbing manner.
"Hey... um... who do you... um... like?" She asked him, almost angrily. Percy looked at her in confusion. Her facial expression looked mad. He hesitated for a minute or two, then asked her a question.
"Uh... um... Emily. I almost feel like you're going to kill me, if I tell you."
"Rubbish, Percy. I won't tell anyone. Promise."
"I won't tell you who I like... but... um... you have to promise not to tell anyone... my secret."
"Ok... I won't. I promise. If I break said promise... I'll cover myself with mud."
"Um... ok... I uh... I'm not really into girls, that much." Percy squinched his face. He blushed so hard, he turned brick red. Emily stopped, confused.
"Ok. I just wanted to say... I already knew."
"H-how?"
"The moment I saw you... to be honest." While sitting there in silence for an hour or so, Emily's face went from an awkward expression, to stern almost angry. She glared at Percy darkly. If her eyes were lasers, Percy would now be shrivelled ash.
"Stay. Away. From. Senpai... or else." She huffed and rolled back to Knapford. Percy shook like an earthquake was happening. He was terrified of the big engine, that he decided to go to Ffarquar, and stay there. As he rolled into the station, just after 22:00, he found the sheds and raced into the left birth. His driver found an oil lamp and lit it for Percy so, he'd be warm. Percy shut his eyes and thought for a bit.
"Here, no one will hear me. I hope he likes me back. We've been friends for forever now... I wonder what he's up to? Maybe he's doing something really hot." Percy hadn't realised he was drooling. He was starting to talk to himself once more. A shrill whistle came from the station. Thomas had arrived alone. He normally travelled alone, ever since his coaches were sold to a railway museum at York. His blue tanks shone in the moonlight and, his eyes twinkled with stars in them.
"I hope no one is in the sheds." He told himself. He puffed into the middle birth of the small sheds. Then after two minetes of warming up, he herd the most disturbing thing he'd ever herd, since Gordon came out as Pansexual. He glanced to his left and be froze in fear and disgust. There beside him, drooling like a toddler, was Percy. Thomas blew his whistle loudly once Percy said the word.
"Daddy... AHHH!" Percy awoke suddenly and lunged forward. He reversed just enough to see a distressed expression upon his love interests face. He sat there embarrassed that, Thomas of all engines, sitting there next to him, confused.
"I... uh... um... how... uh... much of that did you uh, hear?" Percy asked, pretending to be clueless. Thomas just looked at him, with the same expression as before. He coughed, and told Percy, all that he'd herd.
"Then you called me 'Daddy', and I woke you up." Percy stood there, dazed and surprised. He then started crying. He never wanted Thomas to hear that, ever. He was so embarrassed, he went redder then James around Edward.
"I f-feel terrible. Y-you w-w-were never m-ment to h-h-hear that." He said through his tears. He glanced up at Thomas, to see a smile on his face. He had a little bit of hope return. The the blue tank engine, asked the wrong question.
"Hey... Percy. Do like me or something?" Percy sat there in silence. It was clearly evident that he loved Thomas. Thomas knew it too, he just didn't want to assume anything.
"Yeah... a bit... I guess." Mumbled Percy looking away. Both engines knew Percy was lying. The E2 looked down at him and said that they should head to sleep.
"Don't worry. This will be our little secret." He whispered to Percy and winked. Thomas then thought to himself for an hour or two.
"When should I tell him? How will he react? Will he just kiss me all the time like he said? What will happen to pur relationship, if I accidentally break his heart?" Thomas thought about it long and hard, when the deep whistle from before shrieked louder than before. Emily's wheels pounded the rails for the small sheds at Ffarquhar. She bashed through the left birth and Percy flew forwards, squealing.
"What did I tell you, Percy." She said through her teeth. Percy had forgotten that she had told him to stay away from Thomas. It had completely slipped his mind, when he fell asleep and didn't remember after he'd woken up again.
"Oh that. I... uh... I didn't know... uh he was here. Heh." Stammered the small engine.
"He had nothing to do with it, Emily. I didn't know he was in here. It was all me." Thomas growled. He was always defending Percy, which made the saddddle tank think that the blue E2 ever sexier. As Enily and Thomas continued to argue, Percy yawned loudly to interrupt the two.
"What the hell Percy?"
"If you don't want to hear anything disgusting, I suggest that you leave, biotch." Said Percy to the Stirling Single. He didn't want anyone else to know what happens when he sleep talks. Emily looked at him, very pissed off, and huffed away. As she rolled back, she shouted back at no one in particular,
"Stay away!" With that she disappeared into the night. Percy had sweat pour down his face in fear, and Thomas gave her a look of disapproval. The two engines eyed each other suspiciously.
"Who do you think she was talking to?" Thomas asked.
"She was talking to me... she wants me to stay away from you." He mumbled. Thomas was both angry and confused. Why did his ex want him back? Why would she find Percy a threat? How could she like him when she was the one cheating on him? Thomas thought long and hard about it. Although Emily made him smile, he wss never really into her. She was very obsessive, and still is today. He then dicided to drop the matter for the night, then he and Percy fell asleep in the small little brick sheds.
