Regular pov)

I was told that they would have to do some surgery on my leg since it was damaged from the door. My arm had cuts and glass in it which they removed it all and prepped me for surgery but I wasn't about to go in unless someone I trusted was with Macy. When Kim showed up I explained what was going on and she went and took care of Macy while they took me away to have the surgery.

A few hours later I was back in my room slowly coming to and blinking to adjust my eyes to the bright lights.

"Hi baby" I heard

I looked over and seen Paul, and he looked like a wreck.

"Hi baby" I replied

"How are you, are you ok, what happened?" he asked

"Yes I am ok, and I don't really know what happened except a car was speeding towards me and Macy I got in my car and covered Macy and the car hit us so hard we crashed into the other parked car the was a ways away.

"They said they had to put metal in your leg," he tells me

"Yea they said the impact on my leg was pretty bad" I replied

"I am so sorry baby"

I looked at him

"What for?"

"I should've been there with you girls."

I caressed his face

"It's ok, we are ok now, Macy didn't get a scratch on her. and I am glad it was me who was hurt, I couldn't bare her being in my place."

He nodded and leaned over and kissed me softly.

"I love you."

I smiled and kissed him again.

"I love you too Paul."

A doctor came in and checked my vitals and everything, made sure that everything was looking good then he explained to me what all had happened, why I had metal put in my leg and everything else.

When I was able to go home I was told I how I had to take things easy and slow, not overwork myself till my leg was fully healed, and how it needed to be propped up whenever I sat down and that I was not to stay standing on it for too long.

So we headed over to Emily's and Sam's where Jacob had Macy after Paul told him to take her there.

I walked in, well more like hopped since I was on crutches. Into Emily's and Sam's.

"Oh you poor dear, are you ok, how are you? "Emily asked as she walked up to me and gave me a soft hug which I returned.

"I am fine," I tell her

"Please go sit in the living room and prop your leg," she tells me then ushers me off into the living room.

I looked and seen that Macy was watching her some cartoons while cuddled up with Jacob. I smiled as I took a seat and propped up my leg.

"You being a good girl Macy?" I asked

she looked at me and squealed then got up and ran over and jumped into my arms.

"Careful Macy mommy is healing, " Paul told her as he brought my pillow I bought and genlty lifted up my leg and placed it down on then laid my foot down on it.

"I sowwy," she said

"No baby you're fine, my just has an injured leg, but everywhere else is fine" I assured her when she pouted.

She nodded her head and hugged me, I rubbed her back and kissed her head.

I was very happy that I protected her from injuries and harm. I would take it all if it meant her being safe. And I know Paul and Jacob would do the same for different reasons.

I kissed her head and again and watched as she went back over to Jake and laid back beside him and cuddled.
